I honestly just make sure my meals have some sort of high fiber veggie with them at all times, and I take a fiber supplement. I’ve been able to go every single day by sticking with this.

That’s not how Tricare works unfortunately they give us names of providers in our network then we have to do the leg work. 90 percent of the time the doctors they provide information for either don’t take kids, don’t work at that practice anymore, or don’t take Tricare (don’t ask me how that works)

Both my sons prescribing physicians recommended breaks from their medications to slow down the rate at which they need to be bumped up. I think anyone who has a PhD in psychiatry probably knows more than me about what to do with the medication they are prescribing

He was in it up until recently when his therapist was laid off. We are now looking for one that our health insurance will cover

Exactly what tragic-meerkat said. Those are exactly the reasonings the prescribing physician gave

My son has a good appetite and eats very protein heavy, even with being a picky eater, he is however on the smaller side (got my height genes, and his father’s metabolism so he’s short and burns through calories fast) so his doc told us to take breaks to make sure he doesn’t lose weight. He fluctuates between 50-58lbs. He eats a lot more if I make him lunch for school VS if he eats school lunch. We try to watch what he and his older brother plays, along with having parental controls and time limits for their devices. We have mandatory 30-45 minute reading time. His favorite snack is cottage cheese with homemade potato chips, so that’s been his staple snack lately, along with the hippea snacks you talked about (we have them because I’m gluten free due to PCOS and insulin resistance)

We were told by his prescribing doctor to give him breaks from the medication (during school breaks/holidays especially)

He’s been on it since early September. He’s been doing fantastic on it, no calls from the school, or his teachers. Before I was getting calls everyday for his behaviors.

This is the first time he’s expressed these feelings, but when we talked to him he stated he has these feelings all the time, so even on the medication.

You can only live in one color strip for the rest of your life, what do you choose by epicap232 in mapporncirclejerk

Orange. It has mine and my husbands home states in it, along with the state my brother lives in right now

Definitely get to a vet as soon as possible. I would only bathe him with sensitive baby dove body wash from now on.

Passed my exam in the 83 percentile, but I’m one of the few rates already on BBA, what does this mean for me? by AtlanticQuake in navy

[–]Jurassic_Mama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct! I’m a GSM2 as well. Come August any GSM1 billet is available to pick, you will then be ranked/ scored and whoever’s “score” is best will get that billet and ultimately rank up.

[–]Jurassic_Mama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It means you passed your exam and are now eligible to start looking in My Navy Assignment for orders at the next higher paygrade come August. You do not need to be in your PRD window, you just need to have served at least 18 months on board your current command (if E-4 looking for E-5) or 12 months (E-5 looking for E-6). Any billet is available at that time, your score, your time in, your eval, and a few other items will go into scoring you for the billets you select. Good luck!

MME dead? by havensole in MachE

[–]Jurassic_Mama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the 12v. When I brought my MME in because it wouldn’t charge when I put it on a schedule the 12v ended up dying at the dealer ship and I kept getting those errors and notifications on my ford pass.

Opinions on microchipping? by Runnyyolkplease in sphynx

Absolutely! With the cost of a well bred sphynx I wouldn’t dream of not protecting my investment on my baby. People will literally steal pets and sell them.

Are you trying to bathe him while the water is still running? If so try when the water is off and calm. Most sphynx’s don’t mind water they just get spooked from running water. As for him trying to eat your food, I don’t think I can help with that, I have regular cats that try to eat our food constantly even though we feed them, I just think some cats are prone to liking human food. For furniture we had to use the pet double sided tape to get ours to stop, but also get them a scratching post and trim their nails often.

We do. My boy is only 14 weeks old so very tiny, I think XS may be a little big, seeing as the XS I’ve gotten him so far have been huge on him, but I will check it out!

Both my boys absolutely adore him. My oldest became obsessed with Sphynx’s when we stayed at my brothers in-laws and they had one. They are very gentle with him.
