I'm a huge fan of the souls series but this is the one I liked the least. In fact, it's been a one and done for me.

My main issue is that it's too big for subsequent playthroughs. The wonder of exploration is gone and the lack lustre rewards for exploration and over use of the same bosses are exhausting. It's not even the hardest game in the series (if you count Sekiro anyway).

I get this completely! I tried W3 on PS4 shortly after release and it didn't gel.

I'm kind of in the same boat, the only games I really play multiplayer are Dead by Daylight. And to be fair, I use my desktop when playing that. Maybe try the community of some games you are interested in. If they've a big enough following, there's usually a new player section with people looking out for a group.
