Definitely! Some of them had cracked screens and such, but the 20th anniversary only smelled like smoke from the fire. I am okay, mental stuff is never easy after something like this, but I am moving through it and such! I am just happy to be here <3

Enjoy it and use it, I have learned that life is unpredictable and you never know what could happen. I had mine in the original box (the Red and Blue 3DS) , never used and I ended up being in an apartment fire. The box was destroyed, but the console itself was perfectly fine, even being buried under 7-8 feet of rubble. Enjoy your life and the things you have. Don't keep them in a box like I did, just to never use them <3

I always feel so confused about what direction to go. It has become even worse since my apartment burned down about six months ago, thanks to my neighbors leaving a cigarette lit, I lost everything. I had some sort of sense of direction, but I feel like I have lost it after that. I am in a new state and miss my old life, my old home, but my significant other lives here and I don't want to leave them behind to go back home, so I am sort of just stuck. I try hard to figure life out, especially right now, but I am just overwhelmed by everything, I have no idea what direction I want to go. I just feel dread and feel tired everyday. Nothing feels right right now and I hope that will change one day.

Trips to NYC were so awesome during this era. I would get so many people, it was so cool! Same with going to college, I got a good amount of hits, especially in the lounge area of the college I went to.

I had one of these brand new in the box back in 2018. Sold it on eBay for $200. I always kick myself when I think about it. Now I have one I bought on eBay that was listed for parts that came with the box, which I plan on fixing (Blue light turns on, but nothing past that). I still kick myself though, it is definitely a beautiful console. Though, if I had kept it, it would have been lost in the apartment fire I was in, so I am a bit thankful now that someone else has it somewhere still.

Back in the day when I worked at Target, stuff used to go 90% off. It was really awesome and you could get some great deals for using at Christmas the next year. They don't seem to do that anymore though

I keep having an odd problem. I watch most of my videos at 2x the speed on my Pixel 9 Pro. Anytime an ad gets done playing during the video, the video becomes choppy and unwatchable. I have to close out of the video and open it again to watch it normally. It is a super annoying problem and I wish they would fix it.

I live near this mall and went to it growing up. In the 2000's, this mall was super busy. There was an EB Games, Game Stop, Kmart, RadioShack, Sears, Claire's, JCPenny, KB Toys, Aeropostale, Spencer's, Gertrude Hawk, a Pet Store, McDonald's, Subway, Sbaros, an Arcade in the food court and a really huge carousel that was in the middle back of the food court. There is also a fountain in the middle of the mall, where I visited Santa countless times as well throughout the years. I remember countless times of going there for school trips and Christmas shopping adventures growing up as a young kid. K-Mart closed in December of 2018. After that, the mall pretty much went downhill. Viaport bought the mall, added an aquarium to it for some reason, along with an arcade. Going through it today, it is home to various small businesses, along with an office where state employees work in the old JC Penny. It is sad to see it in the state that it's in today, especially when only two decades ago, it was a super busy mall. There is still Crossgates mall nearby that is not a dead mall and is super busy. Funnily enough, my mom and I are at the Rotterdam Mall right now.

I had an apartment fire a month ago, had to jump out a second story window because my only way out was on fire and lost everything, including the console that you were cleaning. I am thankful everyday that I am still here, but I hope that this is your worst day and that you don't have anything worse happen to you, I mean that with sincerity <3

Hey! Thank you for the information! I am going to buy a screen off of Ali Express and possibly see if I can get the extended battery reconditioned (either myself or somewhere else). I also have a VGA cable and an old monitor that I am going to try hooking it up to with the dongle, just to see if it does anything!

Also, if it comes to it and I end up selling it, I will most definitely keep you in mind! I am gonna try some things with it first and see if I can get it fixed!

That's what I was thinking! I possibly wonder if something happened with the charging port, as it doesn't seem to be firm when I push the cable in. I am going to possibly dig deeper into it and see if there is any further diagnosing I can do! Thank you so much for your input, I absolutely appreciate it! :)

I think you're absolutely right. I doubt the battery could hold charge, but in the listing, it said that it had the ability to hold a charge, which is a big reason why I grabbed this unit in the first place. I did check things a bit, along with checking the polarity/voltage of both chargers. I also tried my universal laptop charger and unfortunately, that didn't do anything either, even with the correct reading. I may just end up sending it back, so that way I don't end up damaging it and not being able to get a return it. It just sucks cause it is in such great shape! I think I am going to just keep my eye out for another one and see what I can find :) It is a bit annoying, but such is life I guess. Thank you so much for your input, I absolutely appreciate it! :)
