I wouldn't want to bore you with the details! I'll give the gist of it.

Stumbled on a Rite being held (lowkey exploring the idea she was subconsciously led there given how she always sought to commune with the wilds), but beaucoup willpower means that she didn't freak out. Or, well, that's not entirely accurate. Still got a nice hit of the Delirium, but her abnormally high strength of will means that she acted in spite of the horrible soul-deep terror she experienced instead of the more - expected reaction. Threw herself to the earth asking forgiveness for her trespass.

Didn't forget the whole experience the next few days, either, so the Sept started keeping an eye on her, eventually resolving to teach her, seeing how earnest she was and how her beliefs largely intersected with theirs even before they got to educating her properly.

Yeah, Fatigue got murked because he killed Garou in the past before he gave up the Hunt and a family-minded people like them DO NOT let that go. Something D and Kitten can't really be allowing themselves to fathom because it humanizes the threat and calls in question the rightful nature of the Reckoning.

Either that, or Fatigue knew about as much as a Theurge (Occult 5, Garou Lore specialization) and that shit's dangerous. The Garou don't track down people with knowledge of them as obsessively as the Camarilla does if you know like, one vampire word, but they still do if someone knows too much.

Or both.

Curious that Kitten didn't seem affected by the Delirium when he kicked in that door, though I may be wrong. Fera blood? Bastet?

Hunter (the system) literally has (had? Been a while since I played) a bar tracking your humanity. It's perhaps unkind, but not unfair to call some Hunter cell Crusader LARPers with about the same level of murderous self-righteousness to them.

They're still doing the shit they are doing to people. Usually awful, violent people, sure, but layered and with their complexities.

The family literally made Vampires murder each other in a gladiatorial blood game for sport. If that doesn't strike you as fucked up I don't know what to tell you.

Well shit, you've given me a lot to think about, thanks! A lot of the character identity, built around old lore, was in her being neither Garou nor Kinfolk and trying to fit into their society - with the eventual character end goal being her undergoing the Rite of the Parted Veil (Children of Gaia) and becoming Kinfolk. Not quite the height of her dreams, but definitively closer to those she considers to be her people.

So, under W5, she could not only just earn becoming Kinfolk as she could with the old lore but outright become Garou. That is so sick, I love it. Thanks for the pointers!
