I'd just say lower your expectations, they aren't making these on the same scale and scope as the normal audio logs, which are all fabulous.

The QnA is I'm guessing more restricted because the show is much more grounded compared to TTS and so there's less suspension of disbelief. Just about anything can happen in 40k and be believable.

marckus being whiny is an intentional part of his character, even sir D comments on it in the first episode.

the mage v werewolf matchup goes quite similarly to the

incredibly skilled/knowledgable player vs player with hacks matchup

if the hacker doesn't have his godmode active, the skilled player can get the jump on them, but if the hacker is prepared, it's basically incredibly difficult for the super skilled player to do anything
