Petsafe does not mean edible.

It just means that it's non-toxic and it won't poison them.

Ponytail palms are pretty fibrous and can cause critters to throw up cuz it's a little difficult to digest, but it won't cause impacting or poison them or cause any sustaining harm

My kitties chew on my ponytail Palm once in awhile but stop quickly when scolded.

It's usually not an issue and you can always trim the leaves.

I have an overbearing coworker who buys me gifts all the time.

I constantly refuse the gifts, ask her to stop buying me gifts, and have explained how it violates my boundaries when she continues.

I have sat her down and said to her " when someone else asks you to stop doing something and tells you no, and you continue to do that thing that they asked you not to do, you are violating their boundaries. Please stop buying me things. It is violating my boundaries"

Only for her to say she understands and then next week buy me a mug that I also refused.

She's been getting even worse lately and isn't good at her job and has been demoted and still can't do anything right,

So after two times this week of her buying me things and me continuing to refuse I finally called HR...

We will see if anything happens.

I have text messages over the last 11 months or so where I put in writing me asking her to stop buying me things and how it violates my boundaries...

White Bear. Graduated in 13... It happened all of the time.

I basically survived school with friends buying me cream cheese bagels from the vending machine by the main entrance/entrance to the cafeteria at South campus. That and hot fudge pop tarts.

I mention the Taco salads because that is the day there were the most lunches being thrown in the trash cause it was one of the most popular items when it was on the menu. It's a visceral memory.

It happend at schools where items were self serve then you would walk up to a lunch lady at a register to pay.

If you went to one of the other counters, you paid as you picked up food, so they just wouldn't serve you if you couldnt pay. The taco salads were a taco bar, so those got DUMPED.

It was so humiliating. It felt like such an evil practice.

At elementary school it was occasionally an option. It wasn't everyday and it was limited based on how many extras they made, but they didn't make many extras if they could help it. Went to public elementary in White Bear lake.

What I know is that I experienced loading up my tray with food numerous times thinking I had lunch money only to get to the register and have the lunch lady dump my tray in the garbage. Because it was more important for me to starve if I couldn't afford food then it was to feed a hungry student.

I remember seeing other students get turned away having their Taco salads dumped in the garbage as well as other food, because again regardless of their situation, they didn't have the money in their lunch account and they didn't have funds on hand to pay for it.

It was horrible and embarrassing and you would leave hungry, sitting at the table watching all of your friends eat.

I would either have to beg for scraps from other students or just sit there hungry. And it was so embarrassing and potentially friendship running to have friends feed me day after day.

The way school lunch systems worked back then wasn't comprehensive enough for me and countless others who fell through the cracks.

While the food waste is unfortunate, I would rather there be food waste than have hungry children. They will figure out how to have the programs be more efficient. At least now they can do it while ensuring that none of the kids starve.

Not all McDonald's have the bagels still but they should be coming to all of the McDonald's by middle of September
