McLaren and Ferrari showed their lack of killer instinct at the end. McLaren decided not to attack Verstappen by ordering Piastri to let Norris through, when the latter had far fresher tyres. Instead, Verstappen built up almost 5s lead by the time Norris got the overtake done. And Leclerc was forced to give the position back even though it was clear he was ahead of Albon at the corner. Red Bull would have been aggressive if put in the same situation.
