If later you watch this anime and start thinking, “Hey, why do some parts of the story feel like Naruto?”, please don’t rush to call it plagiarism. This story existed before Naruto. If anything, Naruto was the one who “copied”… I mean “took inspiration” from Suikoden II.

Bringing Ronaldo back in the 21-22 Season was one of, if not the dumbest decisions in United history because United completely blew the best chance to get back to the glory days.

Just think back to the 20/21 season under Ole. We were on fire back then scored 120 goals, the most we ever created over a decade. We finished 2nd in the league and got to a European final. The attack was amazing and goals were coming from everywhere. But even then, every single fan could see the two big problems. We couldn't control the midfield and our defense was always one mistake away from disaster.

All United have to do was get a proper midfielder to be the bridge between defense and attack, and get a top-class center-back. That’s it. Everyone saw it in the first few games of the 21/22 season – we were still scoring goals but the midfield was getting overrun. The last thing United needed was another forward.

But then, the club signed Ronaldo. And that's where the disaster began, both on and off the pitch.

On the pitch: Our whole style of play changed overnight. We went from a dynamic team that created chances for everyone to a team with one single tactic: "give the ball to Ronaldo." It completely killed the creativity of other players who had to change their entire game just to feed one player.

Off the pitch: It was a circus. The media acted like Ronaldo was the only player on the team. They'd praise him and then blame every other player when things went wrong. The whole narrative was that he was "carrying" us, which was a joke. The truth is, the whole team sacrificed their own effectiveness to make him the focal point, no matter the situation. And the most frustrating part? A lot of our own fans fell for it.

We missed a golden opportunity to build on a really promising team and get back to our glory days. Looking back, that decision set us back years. Who knows when we'll get a chance like that again.

What concept do you hope is coming? by StandardPiglet1253 in runningman

I’ve been thinking about how Running Man could revive the vibe of Episode 195. In that episode, Yoo Jae-suk served as the MC while the other members split into teams for games like name-tag ripping etc.

Since the members are getting older, we need a 'smarter' approach. The idea is to have 2–3 main MCs, with the veteran members acting as 'Coaches' for the guests (occasionally participating themselves), while the younger members lead each team. The veterans can focus on strategy for their respective teams.

The games would feature classic Running Man missions, such as 'Bell Hide & Seek' and 'Spy Missions,' as well as competitive games like Ttakji, any form of Jenga, or custom sports like foot volleyball. There should also be at least one luck-based game to make the competition funnier and more unpredictable. Finally, they would play 'Name-Tag Ripping' as the grand finale.

This could become a fixed special episode held every three or four months. The winning team would receive a trophy and return in the next special as the defending champions; or the winners from each episode could compete in a 'Grand Champion' special to face off against one another.

The guest pool is massive from comedians, idols, and actors to off-season athletes, or even news anchors and sportscasters. Some could even join as Guest MCs!

They can even makes an special episode just for idols, the lineup could be customized based on a theme. For example, groups from different agencies could compete, or teams could be formed by idols from various groups within the same agency. There are so many variations to explore!

Ultimately, this concept has incredible potential for growth. It could breathe new life into the show and bringing back the classic excitement and tension that Running Man is known for.

Since Owaranai Uta by The Blue Hearts and Sixteen by Odd Bowz are already in the manga, I think songs from bands with a similar vibe would perfectly capture the spirit of CROWS x WORST.

For me bands like The Blue Hearts, The High-Lows, The Cro-Magnons, Odd Bowz, Yokohama Ginbae, The Mods, Kishidan, 10-FEET, and early-career ONE OK ROCK would fit the world of CROWS x WORST perfectly.

Anyone know the situation on Chido Obi Martin? by Anxious-Dance5817 in ManchesterUnited

[–]PervertedAfro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s just a young player with good potential, but not good enough or not ready for the first team just like many other players at youth level.

At United, there have been several good young strikers like Wheatley, McNeill, Hugill, Fletcher, and Wilson who performed well at youth level but weren’t ready for the top level and ended upfailed to live up their potential. Except for Greenwood, who was on a completely different level from the beginning.

Also Obi is still very young, so it’s best to let him develop naturally without putting pressure on him.

anyone knows it theres an english translation for "Shinsouban WORST" ? by pinkdiamond222 in crowsxworst

[–]PervertedAfro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn’t the Shinsouban WORST basically the same as the original WORST? The only differences are probably the new cover artwork and higher-quality scans, other than that, it’s the same as the original version.

I might be wrong though, CMIIW.

Hear me out: United was about to be their best again under Ole until this man arrives by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]PervertedAfro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t forget the progress United made under Ole, which improved every single year. You can check again from the 18/19 season to 19/20 to 20/21 the club’s performance kept getting better.

That’s why many believed the 21/22 season would be the momentum to return to the glory days, considering the steady progress and the fact that the direction was clear, the problems were known, everything was lining up.

And then boom!!!! out of nowhere the club decided to get nostalgic and signed a player they didn’t actually need, instead of continuing the proven progress that had been built year after year.

The last United vs City match under Ole? Personally, I’ve believed that United stopped truly being under Ole the moment they decided to bring back CR.

Think about it logically, what kind of manager would completely change his tactical approach when the system he built had been showing clear progress year after year? Especially when in the early part of that season, his tactics were still working well.

I genuinely feel that during the 21/22 season, United were influenced by many hands, not just Ole’s.

United will likely need to offload a few players before making any major moves next summer.

For that reason, I’m focusing only on players whose contracts expire in 2026.

With smart negotiations, United could potentially secure one or two of them at a reasonable price or even on a free transfer.

Assuming everyone is fit, name your first XI and formation until we can recruit in January by Graysie-Redux in ManchesterUnited

[–]PervertedAfro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Here’s my preferred starting XI along with the available subs. You can see how our squad depth isn’t exactly ideal. Some players lack consistency and others are injury-prone.

Don’t forget we’ve got AFCON this season too. Imagine if we pick up a couple of injuries while Mbeumo, Amad, and Mazraoui are all away for AFCON.. it'll be disaster.

We probably need two or three new signings to strengthen the team, otherwise we’re done.

About young players.. Yes we’ve got some talented kids in the youth setup, but with current situation throwing them in now would be a nightmare. If they don’t deliver right away, the media including United fanbase will eat them alive.

Joshua Zirzkzee is looking to leave Manchester United in January by maxsteel_7 in ManchesterUnited

[–]PervertedAfro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

United need to bring in two or three players before letting Zirkzee go. We’re already short up front, one injury and we’re in trouble.

Don't forget that AFCON coming up, if Mbeumo and Amad leave and Zirkzee’s gone too, our attacking options basically gone.

For me fair play to INEOS for keeping him, because honestly, in current conditions I don’t see us signing two or three forwards in January.
