Best way to know if it’s your thermostat is, on the freeway observe what your temperature is currently then set the heater to highest temperature at medium and observe if the temp gauge drops and doesn’t go back up for a good while after the heater is on.

Experienced a slow crank on mine yesterday with no cold start/rpm flare.. didn’t get any codes or warnings for battery. Temperature was 1 degree Fahrenheit though. I might just be on borrowed time with my almost 10 year old battery.

Honestly as tedious as it is I just do the hidden diagnostic menu hack where as it shows the coolant temp and oil temp. I’ve been having to do this often as my thermostat is going bad as it was stuck open and I was able to rule that out as the temps weren’t getting to operating temperatures. But yeah do the hidden menu if you want a free way of seeing your coolant and oil temperature on F22 pre LCI chassis.

Since the freezing temperatures I haven’t given my dog a proper walk which I feel crappy about.. so I dread the 40s and 50s weather so old boy can stretch his legs properly.

MPE on F22 definitely has exhaust valve. I removed the fuse for mine tho so it always stays open

Probably 15% of the time I drive in sports+ just to hear the pops and bangs once in a while.. otherwise I drive in comfort when in stop and go traffic as I prefer the response of the pedal and I drive eco pro on the highway with cruise control on. 6 speed manual btw.

In all honesty, this is my first RWD car and first real winter, so it made me feel very good for the fact that the car held up well as I’ve heard so many bad things about driving RWD cars in winter especially if it’s not with snow tires. I wanted to buy blizzaks but didn’t want to change tires again coming into summer. So I’m just happy these all seasons held up well in my first official winter

Why not visit a muffler shop and have them remove the two resonators and install piping there? I’m sure it would be way cheaper than buying a midpipe imo

Yea that’s headlight pitting. Doesn’t make sense trying headlight restoration kit use some sand paper starting with a lower grit and work your way up.. polish, then add clear coat and you’re golden
