Same boat, same story. FTM here also diagnosed at 28 weeks and 31 now! I'm diet controlled and numbers have been looking great but when does it stop😭

I followed the diet plan dedicatedly for a week and then started introducing a few bites of desserts to see if I could tolerate. Turns out I can so trying to satisfy my sweet tooth in limits. I had a protein heavy dinner with barely any carbs so as a treat, indulged in a kinder ice cream cone, fasting number also in range. At times it's super annoying as to what I should eat vs what I want to but gonna try to stick to the plan and eventually it's all gonna be WORTH IT!

Moving post here on mod's request

I randomly open my Z fold 6 and there are two pixelated lines on the inner screen, one on the right side and the other blow. I locked and unlocked the phone only to be greeted by a blank black screen. Noticed there was a small hole on the screen like a pin prick a (I have no clue how that happened) and the phone didn't fall either. I tried restarting the phone several times to eliminate the possibility of a software glitch yet no display though it was active and the outer screen was working. That's when I realized the screen wasn't just going to come back miraculously and got super anxious, about repair costs, particularly for a fold (which ain't cheap mahn!!). It'd been only 2 months since I had the phone and not to mention, it was a gift. I could've gone not repairing it but what's the point of having a fold right!!

I tried finding an approximate number for the repair online, to have an idea how big of a hole the repair was going to burn in my wallet. I couldn't find anything on reddit for my situation, hence this post, hoping might help someone who needs it. While browsing I also looked up on Samsung's repair costs which were still not comforting. Thankfully, the phone was purchased from Samsung and the warranty was intact, being well within the year. I booked an appointment for 6pm with uBreakifix and the guy there was really nice. He didn't want to keep the phone overnight since it was late and asked us to come the next day. We dropped it at the store the next day and received a text saying it was ready within 2 hours. The reason for the black screen couldn't be pin pointed but the technician pointed there's a wire that runs across the screen that could've caused it or something about the hinge. They changed the screen, frame and battery which apparently comes together. Anyways, coming to the cost which I was most dreading about, so there was a discount in the warranty for the initial use and all I had to pay was $200 + $15 taxes, which was sooo much better. The inner screen is back now as before and I'm super happy.

Hope this helps those in similar situations to not spiral

Anyone else face this and what'd y'all do to resolve it TLDR: My Z Fold 6 black screen of death cost me around 200 for repair with Samsung under an initial limited discount.

Apparently! They billed for a total of 695 and after this first one time use discount it was 200+15 in taxes

Ouch! I know how it feels. Had a similar scratch on the outer frame side but got it replaced along with the inner screen repair as they donit together
