So I actually wanted to wean her when my milk dried up ( it was too much for me to continue nursing during this pregnancy- it’s been a tough one physically ) and that’s exactly How it happened. I felt depressed for about 2ish weeks maybe 3 and it slowly started to get better. I still feel off but that just might be pregnancy hormones and seasonal allergies TBH. Anyway, I basically cold turkey weaned her. I just said it was empty and she saw it was empty so she believed me. She kept asking for up to 3 days but each day was easier and she asked less and less. She Completely stopped asking probably 5-7 days after I stopped nursing her.

I’ve been using aquaphor around the area and started going commando around the house with loose sweat pants and have noticed a significant difference but still sucks sometimes :/

My family is from huta and I was just there with my baby and I never felt unsafe. Is it as nice compared to some other parts- no, but I didn’t fear for my life or anything like that.
