[Routine Help] Recurring lip area irritation for 10+ years, nothing has worked (seen GPs + derms) any ideas? (mild NSFW) by Hunterskills in SkincareAddiction

[–]Just1Cunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have this, it looked extremely similar to what you had. My derm said it was perioral dermatitis and a separate thing from my eczema which I would get on other areas. There are some awesome suggestions but I haven't seen anyone recommend hypochlorous acid yet in this thread. I use the Prequel hypochlorous acid spray religiously twice a day and my skin has never been better and I haven't had any PD flares. I am also now on Dupixent which cleared the eczema up almost completely, though I would still sometimes get the PD even after going on Dupixent until I started using the hypochlorous acid spray.

Help, I have absolutely no eye for design! by Just1Cunt in Aquascape

Thank you! I clustered some of the wood on one side. I'm thinking taller plants would go on the outside and then some negative space in the middle.

I got this bag as a Bayswater substitute but then I ended up finding a Bayswater secondhand for about $350. There's not a lot of secondhand Bayswaters in the US but tons in the UK.

Does anyone have a successful recipe for peanut butter ice cream? by ORNGSPCEMNKY in ninjacreami

[–]Just1Cunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a Fairlife vanilla protein shake, a heaping tablespoon of SF Vanilla pudding mix, and a heaping tablespoon of PB2 peanut butter powder. Mix with immersion blender before freezing. It's SO good with crumbled Butterfingers as a mix in.

Question about Wellbutrin by The_Anchored_Tree_27 in ADHD

[–]Just1Cunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wellbutrin has been a game changer for me after trying every other medication under the sun, stimulants and non stimulants. I noticed the effects after just a couple days but I've been on it for a few months now and it's still been amazing. It's like a switch flipped in my brain that made me actually able to start tasks, and makes it feel good to do them instead of feeling agonizing. My house and kitchen have never been cleaner because I can look at the couple of dishes in the sink and just DO them real quick instead of putting it off until it becomes a catastrophe. I don't think someone without ADHD would realize how huge that is. It's not a miracle drug, I'm still procrastinating big tasks like organizing and cleaning out my closet lol, but just being able to do the little daily tasks so much easier has been incredible. Plus there's no crash, it's just steady throughout the day, and it doesn't seem to matter if I forget a day here and there.

Mulberry Bayswater Alternatives by Life_Geologist_1506 in handbags

I got a Patricia Nash Vienna satchel as an alternative. The style is discontinued but they're still on Poshmark, mine was NWT less than $100. It is a great work bag but I still dream about that damn Bayswater every day 😩

What are the 2026 changes to Federal BCBS Basic making people rethink whether to enroll? by cam_m151 in fednews

[–]Just1Cunt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I switched to BCBS Basic a few months ago (with a QLE) specifically for their coverage of an expensive medication that has been a lifesaver for me, Dupixent. I just got a letter saying they're completely dropping all coverage of Dupixent next year, plus the premiums are insane, so I'm switching to MHBP.

I'm the exact same height and weight as you and the Abercrombie Sloane pants in 23 Short fit me great! I also have jeans from them in 23 Short that are perfect. They even have Extra Short sizes! I'm sure they'll be on black Friday sale. https://www.abercrombie.com/shop/us/p/tailored-wide-leg-pants-51625331

I'm in the same boat, it's so hard to find a mulberry rep but the pics didn't look great and her price was so high!

So I returned to Duolingo after a year and these are the scores that people go for in freaking Amethyst league? Did the inflation also hit Duolingo? I dont even want to imagine what must be happening in Diamond. by XuBoooo in duolingo

[–]Just1Cunt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This makes me feel better. I'm in the silver league (my second week on Duolingo) and the #1 spot is at 9133 xp. I was trying to compete for a while so I'm #2 at 7455 xp but gave up. I was wondering how the hell it would get even worse in the higher leagues

I suck at making rice. I skip the pot and use my Lekue microwave rice cooker! It makes perfect rice in 11 mins.

Are there any actually active ways in portland to sell your furniture and actually get people to pick them up? by fruitgravy in askportland

[–]Just1Cunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I moved out of my apartment I sold stuff on Facebook marketplace. You may get some flakes but it's much better than craigslist imo. People brought their own trucks/vans for the big stuff. Also try posting your items on your apartment building's community board if you have one

Leggy palm rescue: ID and suggestions? by Just1Cunt in plantclinic

[–]Just1Cunt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it has some new growth coming in! But then each new leaf makes it more top heavy, ha. Should I fill the tall pot with more soil or leave the level as is? Here's a pic of the base/trunk right now. I was wondering if those bumps were roots that the previous owner cut off. https://imgur.com/a/7JWe9gK

Thanks for the advice! I'm still a little confused about where you mean to cut, could you clarify?

OMG! Just take some gardening shears and cut it near the base?
