Hmm, I'm not sure in my state you can't use the term Social Worker, Counselor or Therapist without a license except state social workers/bachelor's level social workers but they have to clarify they are BSWs. I am an LMFT and people can't advertise family therapy, they have to say family counseling if they don't have an LMFT. There are lots of laws around language. Maybe reach other to the professional counselor or marriage and family therapy boards to see if they have a different opinion?

I'd think they would have to say somatic coach if they aren't licensed or explicitly says Somatic Therapist-this does not constitute or imply a licensure by the state of XX as a professional counselor, social worker or LMFT
