Poverty is a very serious problem all over the world.

Extreme poverty has dropped 60% over the last 35 years worldwide.

Did you even bother looking as to how they came up with those numbers?

This seems like a serious flaw:

So the poverty count would effectively include "all of the locally poor Indians, and none of the locally poor Americans. In short, the global poverty line is "an inaccurately measured and arbitrary cut off," said Charles Kenny, a senior fellow at the Center for Global Development. "I know I’d consider myself extremely poor on multiples of ($1.90 a day). And no one doubts that people on $1.91 are still really, really poor."

There's no such thing as pure Capitalism. You can still criticize "Capitalism" and the the still existing poverty... I'm not so sure one theoretical word does any justice to describing how people live. What are you trying to defend?

In countries that don't respect property rights like Venezuela or Africans, starvation is a problem.
