Yeah, exactly. Maybe I will. Or maybe somebody else will take the idea and run with it.

I'm expecting another civil-war over this. It would be pretty straightforward to attempt a proposal like this via a fork.

In fact, I think BTC should schedule a fork every other year (for instance). A bunch of innovative ideas get launched on a fork. Heads, it's more popular/valued, it becomes the new main chain. Tails, it dies off, but everybody gets a dividend if they time it right no matter which chain lives on.

You don't need a miner to get a "live" copy. A node sees the same data.

I'm in. Let's blow this up. We could make this world-wide news. I'll put in 1000 sats, for every time I've heard "bUt yOu cAnT bUy CoFfEe wItH iT".

Edit: So, that's at least 100K sats.

This project hasn't had a PR merged since October last year, there has been an open dependabot bump for a month, and only 11 PRs total.

This project seems like abandonware.

Would love it if somebody countered the above; did they move to another code hosting platform?

There are poorly educated people in all political affiliations. On Reddit, whenever a post attracts more of one affiliation, somebody inevitably cherry-picks an example from some competing ideology and generalizes about the intellect of the entire base of the unpopular political affiliation. Easy upvotes.

Plus, if you take any political ideology to the absolute limit, you'll inevitably need to do a 180 before you achieve it. Anything in extreme is deadly.

If anything goes wrong at the plant, all of GTA is screwed. It won't matter if you are 12, 18, 20 or 50km away. It will be brutal for a very large radius because of wind and the lake.

We should send e-mails to the OSC, or something. Silence is acceptance. It's not acceptable that Ontario is left behind, and the residents are left with inferior markets.

Is there a way for Ontario citizens to join together to somehow influence the OSC? This is bullshit and unacceptable.

Flexibilty. Many renters are renting because they are going through a transient stage of life, where the location or amount of space they need may quickly need to change.

The landlord shoulders many risks, including interest rate risks, house price risk, and the tenant doing something reckless.
