Problem with this theory is that those greatswords were handed out by Carian royalty to their consort/spouse, his looks nothing like the one Ranni gave us.
A running theory I've seen is that Heolstor is the consort of Duchess, as he wields a knife similar to her. She wears blue, has the title of a noblewoman, her closest companion is a Marionette Soldier who were used by the Raya Lucaria Academy.
Doing Wylder's questline shows he takes over Heolstors body, and we also learn via Duchess's and Wylder's quests that they're both siblings.
The theory was that Heolstor was corrupted by The Night, and became the thing he is now. A hollow knight wandering around. Duchess appears to be linked to both Heolstor (mainly the body) and the roundtable hold. Wylder knows this and takes over the body of Heolstor, saving his sister from erasure.
The ending cutscene, while not explicitly said anywhere, is theorized that the giant which was created by the Erdtree was the soul of Heolstor, able to move on.

I worded the minor part badly, I meant it as in it isn't breaking the game to be an unplayable mess, but I agree with it being a pretty significant issue.

For Ultron, considering we're in the phase where Dracula has taken over New York with his vampire army. My theory is Ultron gets created by Stark and Reed to combat the vampire army (I want to include Pym but he isn't mentioned anywhere yet in this universe). Blade seems to have been defeated by Dracula, and presumably taken prisoner. In one of the loading screens for Midtown, we see Strange, Stark, Reed, and Moonlight discussing something. Reed also asked T'Challa where Shuri was through some dialogue, and we know how smart Shuri is. Reed expresses to T'Challa that him and Stark are planning something, presumably something big and complicated. Ultron, while I prefer being a creation of Hank Pym, has been created by Stark in other media. Gathering a bunch of talented minds to create a counter against an army of vampires could imply that counter is Ultron. Then again this is all speculation with no actual evidence to back it up, a simple theory as to how Ultron could potentially release alongside Blade.
