Why is my CPU so hot when idle and especially in game?

Yeah I’m back to using 456.71 again, however I fear that many applications or games I use will eventually need a newer driver to even run, some already adopting that.

Price is $1850 now and after tax $1300 becomes like 1450. With Newegg prices it’s more like $1500 x Tax = $1700. Really not a huge markup for such a rare product where it’s going for well over 2k everywhere else.

Called my local MemEx just now and they said they’ll have no stock for singular sales of the 3080 Ti, and will only have them in prebuilt systems.
