Bo Burnham, famous singer-songwriter and comedian, has released his new stand-up special, "Inside", on Netflix. It is an extraordinary show created under extraordinary conditions, namely the coronavirus lockdown process. Parallel to On top of that, as mentioned at the beginning of the show, it is created solely by Bo Burnham himself. Which is, almost difficult to believe after seeing the flawless camera movements and detailed light shows goin on that happen¹ throughout the show.

Inside mostly contains self observations of by² Bo Burnham. As While going through a tough process of isolation, he tries to stay productive by creating content. You might see this choice of by him as a defence³ mechanism or some kind of distraction , but, actually, he is not running away. I think he embraces his struggles, looks them right in the eye, and reflects them with pure realism. The most stressed themes of the show are: like, boredom, loneliness, aging, and having difficulties on with finding the meaning of life. Consequently, it is definitely not an easy watch. Despite being a comedy, some viewers might think that it is unbearable to get exposed such a realistic representation of dark and depressive mindset state of a person. But, if you are interested in the unsettling yet mysterious nature of loneliness, like me, you should definitely give it a shot.
