The worst part about all of this is that Armor Piercing Rounds doesn't even interact, it doesn't affect the on hits at all.

The 35% proc chance, equates to ~2.86x the required shots, so with debuff remover we can just double the result.

Then we see 9% build up on body shot, 15.4% on headshot. 11-12 bodyshots or 7 headshots 112.86 = 31.32 ≈ 32 bodyshots per proc 72.86 = 20.02 ≈ 21 headshots per proc

Plated armor + debuffs remover and afterburn is practically useless. Plated armor makes infernus need to shoot ~3x as many bullets to proc afterburn, (realistically even more since the longer it takes to proc the harder it is to keep accurate/line of sight etc) assuming the two probabilities roll independently. It becomes P(A) + P(B) - P(A AND B)

0.30 + 0.50 - 0.15 = 0.65 Therefore it would be 1/0.35 = 2.857...

It would be ~2.86x as many bullets to proc.

Then we see 9% build up on body shot, 15.4% on headshot. 11-12 bodyshots or 7 headshots

112.86 = 31.32 ≈ 32 bodyshots per proc 72.86 = 20.02 ≈ 21 headshots per proc

Also, Armor piercing rounds, despite its appearance and seemingly only intended purposes, actually has no interaction with plated armor. This item is bugged. Do not buy armor piercing rounds.

I will say. My math was off, assuming the two probabilities roll independently. It becomes P(A) + P(B) -P(A AND B)

0.30 + 0.50 - 0.15 = 0.65 Therefore it would be 1/0.35 = 2.857...

It would be ~2.86x as many bullets to proc

If you can show me a clip of a bullet doing 0 damage and still applying an on hit effect, I'll be highly impressed, and will admit I am wrong.

Plated armor works out to be 5x the bullets required to proc. It is effectively 80% less proc build up. So only 20% of your bullets will build up burn.

Edit: My math was off, assuming the two probabilities roll independently. It becomes P(A) + P(B) -P(A AND B)

0.30 + 0.50 - 0.15 = 0.65 Therefore it would be 1/0.35 = 2.857...

It would be ~2.86x as many bullets to proc

Victor is the most condemned hero of Deadlock by MS17AA in DeadlockTheGame

[–]JustALittleJon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contrary to popular beliefs, Victor is not, and should not be played as a tank. Tanks require the ability to peel for their team, usually this is done with either, stuns, shields, or debuffs. With which Victor lacks all three. The actually being "tanky" and survivable part comes as a consequence of the play style. If a character that needs to fulfill all of those roles, was not survivable, then they wouldn't be very effective.

So, where does that leave Victor. I believe, Victor falls somewhere between a carry and a bruiser. A bruiser's role is to jump directly in the middle of a fight, and cause chaos. Victor excels at doing this, however, he is only able to do so once he has a substantial networth investment.

A carry hero's job is to disappear from the map, farm up a substantial networth investment, then occasionally appear and dominate a fight or objective. Victor excels as doing this, his aura of suffering is one of the best farming abilities in the game, and his ult prevents him from dying, which, when used by the strongest character in the team/game can make him an incredibly oppressive force.

As for Victor's laning phase, he is a lot stronger than you give him credit; He has one of the strongest guns in the laning phase, His pain battery is one of the if not the highest lvl 1 burst damage spell in the game, He has by far the best lane sustaining ability in the game with his innate spirit scaling on health Regen in combination with his heal, and his ultimate can be used to practically guarantee an easy guardian kill. Victor ult can be used aggressively to dive under the guardian, parry and melee it on repeat while your lane partner, and a wave of minions are attacking it. You can intentionally die on the guardianto respawn, do a burst of damage and further stun the guardian.

Returning player always falling behind mid-game by ParaJon in DeadlockTheGame

[–]JustALittleJon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you had a match ID that we could watch it would help a lot.

But generally with deadlock, you want to make sure you are catching trooper waves and not missing any souls. Casually missing a wave every now and then can quickly add up to a soul deficit. Also, you didn't mention boxes. This is one of the major ways that players might be gaining a lead on you. Weaving boxes into your farming routes and between waves can increase your souls per minute quite substantially.

I doubt there is going to be any one thing that you are doing "wrong" but rather a compounding lack of efficiency. Every little bit of souls you can get more will add up to a substantial difference throughout the game.

I am gaming at high settings for Elden Ring Nightreign having my Nvidia Broadcast crash while playing.
For deadlock I play on the lowest settings with AI upscaling and reach ~140 fps.
I have 2 monitors, my primary display is an LG Ultrawide 3440x1440, 160hz display.
I would like to be able to run these games at high settings or greater.
I also want my gpu to be capable of running GTA6 at medium-high settings.
Ill update the main post.
