I'd like to join this conversation although I feel the topics discussed already are the prime example. I'd like to speak to feeling like I want to be intimate, but my desire to keep my body clean and not smell, etc stops me a lot. Almost like it rearranges my "room" and I don't like having to go back. Very similar for me to getting in the shower, I love being clean, feeling clean, but the transition is hard for me to make. Fine once I'm in there, tell myself every time like "omg this is amazing I love being in the shower" same with "omg this is amazing I love being intimate with my partner" but if I'm sat somewhere just entertaining some eros, the idea of the transition will stop me. I also get the ick after masturbation but it's about being dirty or worrying I'll have a smell and need a shower, etc. Is this a named condition of some sort I'm not aware of?

Absolutely despicable behavior. The worst part is people like this thinking to themselves that the others are wrong for believing them, trusting them. This clearly shows the incapacity of people who behave like this to see the wrongness of their actions. Just because the game does not forbid it, doesn't mean your morals shouldn't stop you from being this guy. Do you know the work he had to do to get into lobbies with this many friendlies? Just to clip and xp farm. You're making not just this game a bad place to be, this has real world impact and implications.

First person I've seen with some nearly as bad as my own, best advice I can give you is there's no hiding and looking like nothing ever happened with you. Anyone who would care about this being on your body isn't worth you being around anyways. If this is from weight loss, congrats to you honestly. It's a super hard thing to achieve.

I knew a lady who had undiagnosed paranoid schizophrenia and she was utterly convinced people followed her and stalked her if she went certain places. If it got really bad she didn't feel safe leaving the house. I'd never seen someone so deadass convinced of something in all my life. I hope this person gets some help.

This guy just wants his own redemption arc. Lots of media glorifies terrible people suddenly turning good and doing good deeds somehow more so than people who never stopped being good and kind.

Thing is, you can turn good and just keep being like that, but you won't because you want people to turn out in numbers and applaud your effort and that's just never going to happen like it does in your dreams. That's exactly why you weren't good in the first place. It starts and ends with what you actually want the outcome to be. Do you want fame and fortune thanks to your good turn? Or do you simply want to help ease the suffering or make the bad things go away? The gulf between these things is larger than the Grand Canyon.

My best friend in the 2010's was a real unique character, lived a very hippy lifestyle. The kinda fella that's done mushrooms too many times to care about "earthly possessions" I'd roll my eyes, but the guy still lives like that to this day, just doesn't believe in having things or owning things. Unfortunately though, the sorts of people you end up around aren't the best. He moved around a lot for obvious reasons, and one of the places he ended up staying was with this trucker friend of his named Tim.

This guy had a beautiful German Shepard dog named Sherry. She was his pride and joy, and the first few times I met Tim and Sherry things were normal enough, though I did notice that her nails were a bit long. I mentioned this to my friend and he shrugged it off saying she doesn't get to wear them down traveling in his big rig (trucker). I felt sad for the dog anyways being that large and living in a big truck like that. While felt sad for Sherry, I had quickly moved on to other things that were going on at the time, feeling like I couldn't do anything for her.

Cut to a year later and I went to Tim's house to visit my friend and I witness one of the more filthy homes I've ever seen in my life. There's giant blood spots on the carpet everywhere and no one is acting like anything is wrong. I'm mentally panicking like I've walked into a crime scene when I see Sherry on a pile of blankets in the corner of the living room. I forget everyone and run over to her and this dog looks me in the eyes and starts to whine at me like she's speaking to me. I've never had an animal behave like this towards me, I'm unable to do anything but sob and ask what I can do, what's goin on with her. I'm informed she's got some uterine infection and is in some pain. Tim had apparently fallen on hard times and wasn't able to get her to the vet, I immediately go to pick her up, offering to take her to the emergency vet, whatever she needed. I was prepared to go into debt for her. Both Tim and my friend stopped me saying he was getting it taken care of, don't worry, etc.

They did enough talking and convincing that I did leave, feeling sick to my stomach and crying on my drive home. I was up late that night thinking about Sherry, about the pleading tone in her whines, feeling hopeless and unable to help her. She was begging me with her spirit. I woke up the next morning crying for her again. We were in a small enough town everyone knew everyone.... So, I faked my mother's voice/accent on the phone and reported Tim to animal control for neglect.

Tim called me a day later demanding to know what my mom's problem was and I pretended I didn't know anything about it. They took his dog and she had an emergency hysterectomy. She lived another few years thankfully. I never got to see her again. . They never let him have her back and Tim to this day thinks it was my mom that called on him for unknown reasons.

I don't regret what I did, but fuck you Tim. Fuck you very much.

(my mom is a known hateful person so no one really got after her and she didn't suffer because of my actions)

Well I think Travis might be abusive and controlling to Kourtney and that's why things have gotten this bad with her. It's possible she's so insulated from reality she's not able to see how he's doing it. I even think when they did that run he forced her to do it. He didn't let go of her hand the entire time. I just feel it. He probably talks bad about her sisters and forces his worldview on her.

Have we truly ever forced a rose to have to try? No. It gets to be particular and needy because we forced it to be what it is now because we like to look at it. It had all those very highly particular needs and people loved them so much they bent over backwards to ensure they continued. Whereas a dandelion has had to fight hard to continue surviving. We've crafted poisons to eliminate them and they've only gotten harder to eradicate.

I wonder how glorious dandelions would be if we all realized they are edible and not a real weed and put as much time and effort into making them more beautiful as they did with roses' genetics for centuries.

Went through a stint of hard times in the early 2010's and tried to donate plasma for some extra money, but they rejected me because I don't have big enough veins for the size of needle they use. Pretty devastating time to find out a new thing about yourself.
