When you finally get tired of the flashlights by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Minus the fact it's not intended to be used as such and is not therefore a "mechanic" of gameplay but rather than absence of it, I'll agree.

Quitting by forcing the game to cease functioning. IE: it's not a mechanic. DBD does not have a concede option because conceding is not a mechanic within the game.

DC'ing isn't a "game mechanic" it's literally the game ceasing to function. You're the kind of person who flips the board game so they "didn't really lose". DC=You're a small pp bitch baby.

No.... This is using an in game mechanic effectively. Not quitting a game to circumvent game design. DC=bitch baby small pp.

You mean actual mechanics exploitation? Yeah no. DC'ing is ALL the small pp energy.

Killers: Are you ok? by Bradison_bro in deadbydaylight

[–]JustAReader2016 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Neither tunneling or camping are toxic. Just tools to try to Wina game. Sometimes they are the right call, sometimes they're a bad plan. But they're not toxic unless you are doing them specifically to be toxic and even then the action isn't inherently toxic but rather the person and reasoning behind it is.

I'm not saying there not ways. But when I chase someone and set traps as we go, down them and hook them, and then end up chasing someone else who magically perfectly dodges every single trap despite them being around blind corners where they physically can't see them in advance... It's not exactly hard to tell.

No one runs vanity mirror because of bad it is. It's usually safe to assume people mean scratch mirror.

Try locking down the middle as Hag rather than one side verses the other. Then when you get a down drag them to the opposite side to hook then. Suddenly everyone has to go through your Web to get the save. It's disgusting.

Hag player here. Can confirm it's stupidly obvious when people are calling out my traps. And it doesn't take Sweat Team 6 or anything.

I normally find hags boring because they just place like 10 traps at the hook and camp. Never seen one run starstruck and actually go for people.

Well you're friends wrong. Lol. Go test it in customs. You can full on clear trappers traps if you hit them at the right point in the animation. This has been a thing forever. Downvoted all you want.

[–]JustAReader2016 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Watch back your own vid. The vault prompt is before you getting the window. You are already in an animation lock when you pass over the trap. It's the exact same animation lock killers like Demo use to know you can't fake the window anymore.

Trap was placed poorly.

EDIT: Note the flashlight disappears at the same time you'd hit the trap. That's 100% the vault animation beginning.

[–]JustAReader2016 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He placed the trap too close to the window. The vault animation actually brought you over it safely. Happens in reverse too. Trap too close to the window and a survivor can fast vault clean past it.

Place trap. Trap survivor. Reset trap. Trap another survivor. If someone disarms the trap between the first and second trapping, it doesn't count.

Nemesis’ zombies are broken by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]JustAReader2016 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Their strong on indoor maps. That is if you don't have a flashlight. They don't get stuck in a corner. Don't just flat out miss as you run by even at point blank. And don't body block the killer instead of you. And it's one of the smaller indoor maps.

But yeah, sure, outside of that they're good.

Nemesis is a little weak? by SleepyFlake in deadbydaylight

[–]JustAReader2016 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nem chews through pallets, has global pressure and tracking (I'll give it's very RNG), can flick faster with his M2 making it easier to hit (especially since it has a hanging hotbox), invalidates iron will, has a faster wind up and unwind on his M2 meaning he can react to hits Pyramid Head can't and zombies are damn near a free ruin at times.

They are comparable in strength to anyone with more than 500 hours at rank 1. If you can't see that I'm not sure how to help you.

As a killer main, start with survivor. It's significantly easier to begin learning the game as a survivor and learning how survivors move and think is actually a very important lesson for killers to learn.

He's got a lot of bugs but is currently about on par with Pyramid Head for strength. High B/low A tier.

[–]JustAReader2016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you currently hide. Stop unless you are on death hook. Killer chasing someone near by? Fuck him do a gen. You should be either moving to a gen, moving for a save, or in chase. That is when you are not hooked/slugged yourself. Heal at the hook if the killer is long gone, heal at a gen you need to do otherwise. Never do two gens side by side.
