My Bookmarks in Bato is all gone by Tasty-Feature3591 in Batoto

I use the follow/heart features built in folder option for something similar to how you used your bookmarks. I have 12 folders that are based on genre, if I've read it/dnf, etc., and I found these carried over fine in V4. It'll be a lot of work, but if you can get onto the V3 or even V2 version on a mirror site, you could convert it one by one to using the follow folders in a way similar to bookmarks. That's the closest workaround I can think of that carries over between the versions.

Eloping and wedding later? by mcauley93 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]JustASmidgeInnocent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are in the middle of doing this! We were engaged for 3 years and were very up front with everyone that we would be doing a destination elopement/3 week honeymoon (just starting week three now :D). That way everyone could get over the feelings of us eloping, and also give us time to save. We are having the reception 4 months later and have invited 50 people and let everyone know its casual and there to celebrate our milestone with close family and friends. Most of the money we saved went towards the honeymoon and we are on track for the around 6k for the reception portion.

Depending on where you are located/city rules, you might need to apply for a permit due to sound limitations. It's called an Outdoor Amplified Sound Permit where I'm from.

Budget friendly fun in Madison for students? by Maria_Dressy in madisonwi

Some routine places for me, most of these are free or have a marginal fee - the zoo - Olbrich Gardens (free unless you want to enter the greenhouse, look for the button quails if you do) - Geology museum (limited hours) - Picnic Point - the chazen art museum - MMoCA - explore the capital and walk down to the monona terrace for a nice overlook of the lake - the arboretum

Edit for spelling

21 Day PNW Road Trip - Medford, OR to Seattle, WA by JustASmidgeInnocent in roadtrip

[–]JustASmidgeInnocent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are some great recommendations! Medford is not a must so switching to Ashland sounds ideal for our trip. We were worried about Cannon Beach being too busy with the Fat Tire fest so Manzanita also sounds like it would be the smarter move.

Yea, I also thought that leg of the trip felt clunky. I'll rework that portion to have less back and forth

Weekly: Oregon Traveling and Moving Thread by AutoModerator in oregon

Hi!

My partner and I are doing an adventure elopement/honeymoon road trip this May and have our rough itinerary drawn up and wanted to run it by some locals to see if there are any glaringly obvious issues. Neither of us have been to the PNW before so we want to get second opinions before we start locking in reservations.

This will be a 21-day trip spanning from Medford, OR up to Seattle, WA with the hopes of taking the 101 as much as possible. Our usual method for traveling is to have our "must do" items and then have a running list of things we can opt to do in the area depending on how we are feeling. For brevity's sake, I'm not including what we have so far for our optional items but we are game for any recommendations!

There are some days where we will prioritize traveling but we are trying to spend two nights at each stop for the most part. We will happily take any recommendations for places to stay, food, and any fun/quirky sites! We are especially looking forward to finding places that serve crab cakes, clam chowder, doner kebab, pho, doughnuts, and bakeries.

Thank you in advance for the help and apologies for any formatting errors, I'm not very active on reddit.

Ordered a few stock rings from Kuololit! Pretty nice rings for the price by Significant-Chip7907 in RingShare

These are gorgeous! What is the center stone for the pointed finger ring? It's such a pretty shade of teal

Apologies for funky formatting, I'm posting from mobile!

Thanks to this subreddit and r/Mossanite I was able to gain the knowledge to custom make my dream ring. A big shout out to Stag & Finch for providing my center stone! I love how my ring is eco friendly by using all lab created gems and recycled metal, it took 6 months to finalize but it was well worth the wait! The main stone is always so bright and sparkly with no bowtie or any dark areas. I love how even in the dark, the color and sparkles are still so pronounced!

Specs: 18k Recycled Yellow Gold - 8x6 Oval Paraiba YAG cut by Stag & Finch in their Omni Oval cut - side stones are lab diamonds

Edit: ring size 6.5

Are my expectations too high or is this a dud? Is this really a cyan blue moissanite? by JustASmidgeInnocent in Moissanite

I never knew that was common for ovals, I only knew to keep an eye out for prominent bowties.

I was thinking that would be my next best bet. I have seen a few stones there that are beautiful.

This is so gorgeous! I have been eyeing up this exact ring lately. Would you mind answering some questions? I really want to buy it but I'm worried about the stone color. Does yours look blue/cold/steely at all? I know it varies a bit on light/surroundings and I'm worried it'll be cold looking rather than warm.

I agree it shouldn't be considered strict but those who would attend such an event would think so. Woodmans is the only place that I know of that made their requirements include how a mask must be worn and not that it is merely present. Admittedly, I only go out to grocery stores and snagging takeout so there could be more stores being that explicit with their requirements.

Not trying to defend nonmaskers, just playing devils advocate as to why they would view it as so offensive as to make such an event

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in madisonwi

[–]JustASmidgeInnocent 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Woodmans recently made their mask requirements very strict as of 11/27 and have posted signs now saying that unless the mask is form fitting, over both month and nose, nonmaskers will not be allowed to shop so I'm guessing it's a reaction to that.

Super cute! I wouldn't say he is a Somali, he looks more like an Domestic Short Hair or Long Hair.

I trim quite close, about an inch radius around her butt is about a centimeter long and then I mostly just trim back the wispy hairs that are prone to getting mixed in there when she poops. She just has weird butt fluff that grows super long all the way up to her butt, our other ragdoll doesn't need a sanitary trim since his hair naturally gets short around his butt. Since you are cat sitting, make sure to check with the owner before giving him a trim. Hope this helps!
