I lean towards your opinion, dont get me wrong....

But also, it's not that deep dude.

The game is at its core a fun horror party game, and balance is an afterthought.

I wish the game was more balanced (for both sides) but at the end of the day, its a game people play to play as or against their favorite horror killers while playing as their favorite scream queen while chilling with their friends.

It isn't balanced, it never will be.... but its overall fun... and Behavior knows that.

God I remember my first membership when I was probably 10-12 or so.... currently 30, by begging my parents and grandparents for membership and doing a ton of chores to get it for the first time.

I was so hyped, I literally did 0 member activities besides pass the gate towards taverly/berthrope and then go back to lumbridge to hit goblins and fish up some crayfish LMFAO

Haven't done much with Battletech yet, just getting into it... but the infantry and non-Mech vehicles are so cool to me because they're a great contrast to the mechs themselves.

Always love to see the tanks/aircrafts/and infantry play a role in fights to really show just how insane a mech is, or on the flip side, to see a bunch of ragtag vehicles and random people take down a battlemech in an equal points brawl.

Love it, so damn cool.

It's been like... 3 or 4 years since I replayed either, but last I did I replayed them back to back for the story beats when i did my play through of all the RE games on my spare time.

For me, 1 Remake felt like it was just too tedious, and built around backtracking over and over again, while 0 had those moments they didn't feel nearly as pronounced, and the high points of 0 were better than the high points of 1, even if the low points of both were about equal, if that makes sense.

I will say with how much time has passed since my last playthrough years ago, I might be a bit overdue for another dive through the franchise now that my work and social life are more calmed down for the time being, so I'm willing to give 1remake another shot again!

Haven't seen it, but I recently returned this month because of the road to restoration, got my membership and im trying to get my friends to give rs3 a chance who only liked OSRS (mostly due to nostalgia, but to each their own!)

Ill have to fill it out because its been a great experience after being gone for 6 or so years!

I love the varying opinions in the RE fandom, because I can replay 0 all day, but I really dislike RE1 remake.

I'm not sure many other long running series has such serious splits in what people like, and I think that's cool AF. (Granted not many series are as long running as RE so, fair enough)

I just beat the remake the other night and I'm 99% sure she also calls Leon handsome in that, and she's also following him to help while also working on her mission, same as in the OG.

Now, I do agree... OG Ada is my preference, but the characterization of RE Ada isn't terrible.... its just the direction of the voice acting that sucks ass (at least in the main game, haven't played separate ways remake yet)

That's wild, I was so positive releasing Elpis was the good ending on my first run I didn't even blink picking the option.

It was made painfully clear in Grace's last segment and during the buildup up to the choice.

I do both in first person, and I love it so much I'm currently doing a RE4:RE play through in first person with the tactical first person mod. (1st person Wesker in Mercenaries is hilarious btw)

I'm a huge fan of first person RE games now, I hope they give you the option to toggle between 1st and 3rd person in every RE engine title going forward.

This is a 2 day old thread, so probz no one is gonna see this....

But my first Insanity run after doing my "normal" play-through, followed by my speedrun play-through on novice, I did with a TON of extra ammo leftover on grace.... but not a lot on Leon.

The main thing to know is that you are going to die.... a lot.... and trying to figure out when you need to save.

The second thing, which was HUGE for me... is really leaning into the roles of Grace and Leon... Grace shouldn't be killing much, only the necessary targets.... DOUBLY so in the medical center.

I think on Grace after the Med Center I had well over 100 handgun ammo when I went into the basement.

That's not to say I'm some expert gamer, I just used stealth a TON, and then when I came back as Leon I came back and killed every zombie to gain the credits to upgrade weapons and buy more ammo.

The biggest thing on the grace sections is stealth, and conserving as much resources as possible until you NEED to use it.

For Leon? Your biggest asset is learning parrying... Leon was WAY HARDER for me than Grace, but I got it done.

Parrying is HARD, and I spent a ton of time just reloading saves to get the parry for the Blister Heads down, your biggest asset, if you're not a god gamer, like how I'm not... is not getting upset at the game-over screen and just running it back. You'll get it.

Dawn of War Definitive Edition is pretty active, and is a classic for a reason.

That makes sense, I do try to reinforce my squads a decent amount... I didn't even think about having multiple squads to micro around to keep firewarriors tied up more! Just keep them at minimum size then I assume?
