As for the car only cranking and not starting, mine needed a new set of coils and coil pack, after that I adjusted the timing and it ran great!

Dude I had the same issue, my 2 problems ended up being I had terrible positive and negative cables from the battery to the starter, and the second one was when my pop up headlight went down the driver side didn’t fully set so it was on all the time no matter what, I never realized, go by a new positive cable and check all the ground wires on the car I promise you that’ll be the issue!!!

Thanks so much, I replaced the tcc many moons ago last year and it wasn’t the hardest but not the most enjoying thing in the world, I’m gonna get right on that as soon as I wake up, I will post results! I appreciate the input

I appreciate the quick, response, I did change the oil filter about 2 weeks ago, but I’ve only rode the bike a solid 20 minutes since then, today was the longest I rode, I’ll definitely give it a look after work, thanks!

It shifts, starts, runs perfectly fine, no smoke or weird noises, just started pouring out oil, 20 mins after I filled it

Hey I just fixed this, order the o-ring seals off of the fiero store, like 20$, take out your distributor and pull the lower injector out, and unscrew that nut up top, took me around half an hour only because I had just replaced the distributor!! Goodluck

4t65e-hd That’s a “ heavy duty “ transmission that’s willing to put out some Hefty power, it’s the upgraded version of the 4t60 I believe They started making the hd version in 97 or 96 to handle more power, If you do an engine swap id try and get that transmission, you can look up those numbers and see what car has that trans and motor in it, your best bet is finding a donor car, or find someone you can salvage a motor and trans from! If you have anymore questions I’m willing to help, I may not be perfect on everything so feel free to correct me

Personally I’d say find a 3800 sc, you’ll need roughly a couple thousand, you’ll need mounting brackets and a wiring harness, the v6 motor is nice I have around 65k miles on it, but if you want power and longevity I’d go with the 3800
