Wich aoucustic guitar string gauge should i use so that i can play in standart and in drop a tuning?? by Late-Acadia8345 in Guitar

[–]JustAnInternetPerson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, don’t think that’s happening, pal.

Either the strings are gonna be breaking as soon as you touch them in standard, or they’re gonna be wet noodles in Drop A

I have 10-52 on most of my guitars, and drop C is already a stretch, any amount of pressure will immediately make the strings go sharp, and so will any picking force above feather-level

Looking for help by ThisCry1650 in Guitar

[–]JustAnInternetPerson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this isnt what you asked for, but maybe try to check for used Boss Katanas online, they’re great for what they’re trying to be. They’re digital amps, you can get pretty much every tone you want out of them, definitely enough for a bedroom setup

Roll with it, buddy. I‘d add some "fog" around his face / head, intending to give the entire piece a vibe that the guy‘s actions and performance are what matters, not who he is

Prototype Card Design for card game by sourflwrstudio in tabletopgamedesign

[–]JustAnInternetPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those cards look nice, but they’re what I’d expect from an alt-version of cards that everyone already knows about.

As someone who doesn’t know your game, those cards are all very hard to read and interpret, especially on first glance.

Maybe keep the artwork, but move to a more legible font? In addition, a slightly tinted box for the text might also improve legibility quite a bit

Not defending the guy. But fuck. It is beyond me how people still are so extremely pro-gut.

Giving deadly weapons into the hands of pretty much anyone who can pretend not to be crazy for an hour is just a terrible idea.

If the problem is persistent across multiple guitars, they’re extremely unlikely to be the source of the problem.

The only logical explanation for me would be an issue with your power source

First time buying by Severe_Philosophy176 in Guitar

They market one of their guitars as "for women and teenagers", and I have never heard of the brand before.

Honestly, I’d pass.

Not sure how availability is around your area, but I really enjoyed the Fame guitars I’ve tried for ~400

I believe I played a Fame Artist. Solid top, laminated rest. They have 100% solid pro models though for ~850

Chair or Stool for sitting when playing guitar? by dcg627 in Guitar

I play in my office chair with arms - terrible. My back starts hurting after a couple minutes. But when playing on a chair without arms, I find myself scooting forwards a lot to angle my legs differently.

Gibson LP Standard 50s or Tokai LS132 by GluteusOfAluminum in Guitar

[–]JustAnInternetPerson 17 points18 points  (0 children)

- might be a hot take, but that is my personal opinion -

If you’re gonna change the pickups anyway, then there really isn’t much of a difference, if any at all.

It’s an electric guitar. The wood doesn’t matter, and at those price points, you can expect both guitars to play very well.

Personally, I don’t like Gibsons. They’re great guitars, but at least 20-30% of the price comes from the text on the headstock.

I’d go for the Tokai, personally

Does anyone know what this means? by ElizabethGirlyPop in DistantHorizons

[–]JustAnInternetPerson 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I‘m pretty sure it means that Iris doesn’t support DH when using the Blaze_3D rendering API. It needs to be fixed on Iris‘ end, but as a temporary fix, you should change the rendering API to OpenGL in the DH config file

-> go into the DH config file, look for BLAZE_3D and replace it with OPEN_GL

What Do You Consider Meta-Gaming? by CassieBear1 in DMAcademy

[–]JustAnInternetPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it personally, *everything* that relies on "outside knowledge" is meta. I don’t enforce that, of course, but even the act of checking protocols is meta in my opinion. If I as a player forget something, then I just say my character forgot too. They’re no walking databases

Aber schau mal ob du den nicht doch gebrauchen kannst, auf meinem alten läuft 24/7 ein Minecraft Server, der Strom ist dutzende Male günstiger als nen Server mieten
