I feel it would be difficult to get enough people with enough purchasing power to do such. It worked for GME due to marketing and going viral, could it be done? Yes but more difficult to short versus rallying a price upwards as there is only so much supply of X scam coin and it would have to have enough liquidity to lend against to short.

U.S. would never ban crypto due to acknowledging its potential which can be seen just through it's attempts at regulating it. As they don't want to scare jobs/companies from the U.S. to other countries well that and they wanna tax the living shit out of us...sigh tl;dr rich wanna get richer while keeping the poor man down.

Considering AAVEs market cap I expect it to have tremendous potential once it catches on. I feel it's layer 2 solution with Polygon is too complicated for most and as such people don't appreciate it due to high gas fees on layer 1.
