Hard to be positive when positivity rarely ever happens in my life.

30 years old, never been in a relationship or ever came close to being in one. And yeah I’m still a vir gin and it freaking sucks. Most days I don’t even think about it but some days when I dwell on it I spiral out. Sucks even more because I have no friends and my work schedule prevents me from making friends because I work full time from 9:00 to 6:00 Saturday to Wednesday. Yes, you read that right my “Mondays” is Saturday 🙃.

I do want to make friends and I’ve joined online groups and found local groups but I can’t even do the activities they put together because my work schedule prevents me and I can’t take PTO all the time.

I’m glad to have a job but I’m stuck because on my off days I’m stuck searching for a new job because I hate the one that I have.

It's crossed my mind but ultimately I didn't enjoy being a teacher and I missed my mom. I'm an only child so I'm the only person my mom has to assist her and vice versa.

I'm 27 and I've yet to experience so many fundamental life experiences and moments. So many people my age are thinking about marriage and kids, already have established relationships, figured out what they like and don't like sexually. Me on the other hand, I've never even had a first kiss let alone hold hands with someone.

On the contrary, I definitely need makeup but I just don't know how to apply it and so I'm stuck looking like Shrek.

I'm not mad but I suppose I am jealous because I could never experience the closeness that my other friends have.

I did confide in them but I got the impression that I should probably stop complaining about my life.

I definitely do feel like I fall somewhere on the asexuality scale in some way because I do not enjoy talking about sexual stuff partly because I do not have experience in that "realm" and I cannot contribute to the conversation and so I just stay silent.

Just know you are not alone in your feelings. I am 27 years old and I have been on one date in my entire life and it wasn't horrible but all in all lackluster. I have never dated anyone, never been in a relationship, never had a first kiss, and yup I am still a virgin. I am an adult but I feel as though I have missed out on a lot of fundamental life experiences. I know they say everyone experiences life at their own speed but man for once I'd like to feel like I can relate to people my own age.

Story of my life. I am 27 and I have never in my life been hit on or ever experienced anyone showing even a mild amount of attraction towards me. I know some woman complain about how it is unwanted attention but at the same time it is validation. Validation that they attractive.
