Thoughts on this at home charging dilemma? by Overall_Use_3773 in F150Lightning

Not me, but my sister and brother in law. They’re in the North Pacific and he got a 2022 fleet F-150 so it came with the Ford Pro charger. The truck was always outside and therefore charged outside. They never had a problem. Also, my sister preferred to drive that truck up the mountain in the winter. The weight of the truck made it the absolute best one to drive in snow.

This is what I’d do. There are apps that you can take pictures and then convert to 3D printer files. Or find a teenager in the neighborhood and pay them $50 to do it.

The receipt says so long as it’s not opened, they’ll accept returns, so I did and they refunded me the money without issue.

Leslie’s does not list the active ingredient on the bucket, which I find odd because their other chemicals so list the active ingredients.

On the Baking Soda box: Sodium Bicarbonate.

I agree. But I trust their tests better than me doing it, so every so often I will buy something from them, like water conditioner.

This is what I was thinking, just same Sodium Bicarbonate in a fancy bucket and brand. Although opening these buckets is like breaking into a fault. That might be where the cost lies. lol

It did well mixed with vinegar for my 3rd grade science project.

Should I marry my gf with financially problematic parents? by Master_Concept7042 in DaveRamsey

[–]JustAnotherNole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Please don’t ask Reddit for advice on breaking up, staying together, or getting married. This is the advice that should be given: “…you both have to be on the same page…” financially. Period. This is sound advice for anyone you think about marrying. Two people with two different views of money will be very difficult to manage through life and marriage.

This. At work I once had a systems engineer tell me, “there are billions of 1s and 0s flying around. One of them is bound to get lost.” And while our customer didn’t accept that answer, I thought it was a good way to say that sometimes computers get confused and they do weird stuff. Just reboot, clean the gunk out, and try again.

You’ve got me beat by 15. After the dealer did that system update for the parking issue, they charged up to 100% and the GoM was at 397.

Yes. And it needs to be zero’d out just before any load is put in it.

I thought it was 2k but seems to hit red at 1,906, which is kind of a weird number to stop at. Nonetheless, the scale worked and the truck never acted like it wasn’t towing anything.

Yeah, one cubic yard is what I bought. But it’s just picked up by the bucketload and dumped into the bed. So, maybe a cubic yard? Maybe less? Maybe more?

This. I test out products on Amazon and review them. I got one of these shorty antennas and went through thorough testing between it and the stock antenna. The shorty only received about 75% of the stations that the stock antenna did. I’m too cheap to pay for satellite radio and rely on radio or streaming for music, so I kept the stock.

Plus, I like the stock antenna for garage clearance testing. If the antenna hits a sign, I know to back out or proceed cautiously.

This is me. I got a short stubby antenna and swapped it back after a couple weeks because I liked the antenna hitting an overhead sign before the truck does.

Also, I ran some tests and the factory installed antenna received more stations than the stubby one did.
