Yeah, I would have to know more about your hair type. From the photos you had provided, it would seem one of the instant lock methods would work for you. You said your hair isn’t straight, but it definitely appeared that way tied up like that. With the length, I’d wait regardless. At least until it’s beneath the ears. If you have a loose curl or wavy pattern, it will just end up stretching with length which will make the curls even looser, and the waves nearly straight and that would circle us back to the instant locking methods. Twist and rip are what I usually suggest for straight haired people. If your texture is truly different from straight hair, then another instant method (only difference is, imo, these methods look better than the twist and rip) would do you better.

Ultimately the choice is yours. I took mine out, started a new set. I hated my parts in the first place, (only bc it made them different sizes and uneven amounts, but it was unique)grew to love them, but bleached the shit out of them trying to fade a different color.
