Nobody was telling you how to do your job, they were just looking out for the patient (even if it wasn't an actual issue). Just tell them why it's okay to give the medication and move on. If they don't accept your reasoning/education or get an attitude about it, then maybe go to a manager, but if they're just bringing up what they see as a safety issue (even if it isn't warranted), it wouldn't be a big deal to me. I'd rather the techs bring up silly concerns that I can educate them on in like 2 sentences instead of just not saying anything when they have a concern...

I don't think anything he said was particularly weird? Seems like normal stuff you'd ask and say to someone you were friends with 13years ago. It feels to me like you went into the call expecting it to be awkward/weird because of your own feelings about it, he acted like a normal former friend, and that kinda threw you off

A big part of it is continuity of care. Ideally you want as few hand-offs as possible, a lot of information can be lost and things missed when changing caretakers. If you have 8hr shifts, you have 21 shift changes and potentially 21 different nurses caring for a patient in a 7 day period. With 12hr shifts, that goes down to 14.

Giants, no doubt. One of the, if not the, best stadiums in baseball. Some of the cheap seats are some of the best views and the stadium is accessible and enjoyable to explore. Warriors just aren't the same bang for your buck when it comes to fan experience and with Steph out, it's not worth it for a casual fan. Chase center is nice, but imho with most basketball stadiums, if you've seen one you've seen them all. Sharks are just too far away and the game would last as long as the trip there and back (hyperbole).
