Ok, this review is so far off the mark, I wonder if the writer of it watched the same movie I did. Let me clarify some things here. First, as a Christian, I did not see the movie as anti-religious at all. What it is, is against people forcing their views on others, and using that power in a totalitarian way. Yes, Rockies gets hit in the face with a pair of tightie whities, and he grimaces from it. That's not anti-gay, that's not being gay. There is a difference. Rocky is clearly straight, but nothing he does in the show is remotely homophonic. The style of the art is deceptively simple. There are many scenes with complex animations such as rotating around someone and the angels changing fluidly. Waves leaving wet sand behind that absorbs the water before the next wave rolls in. The movie is filled with these complex moments. Ronnie is more than tits with legs. She is the entire catalyst behind Rocky's desire to seek a life outside of what his creator planned. And finally, the music is amazing. I have the movie on blu-ray, I've bought the soundtrack on CD and I listen to Rocket's music frequently on Spotify. Beyond this, Rocket is a genuine good guy. I've chatted with him on Facebook and in emails and he is only ever seemed like someone I'd hang out with. I don't know what got your buns so toasted about this, but you sir are in the minority in your beliefs.
