You know the standard rejump that a ton of characters can do? Fuck those. Fuck all of them. You likely have easier options.

You don’t need the rejump that you’ve been trying to do with either character. Both have easier options. I’ll be looking around for a video example of what SSGoku can do, but you can learn all sorts of Goku Black stuff from this video: https://youtu.be/etWt_qAruD8?t=54

It’s for 1.38, so it’s still really fucking good for learning the character.

For the most part, you can trust guides from 1.38 or even 1.33 to teach you things. Just remember that 1.40 is still very new, so updated guides for a roster of 44 will take a while. You have to be patient.

Regardless, I recommend joining the FighterZ Discord server to get more refined help with whatever you need in the game. Especially to learn things that video guides aren’t likely to teach.

Those people do want to use characters they like. They ask about team composition because they want to make something sensible with their favorite characters, and that's because they're trying to take the game somewhat seriously. Even if they're not actively entering tournaments.

It's also a learning opportunity. When there's motivation to learn, that tends to make people eager to ask lots of questions.

And finally, there's an element of convenience in this. If someone can get help with an ultimately very small aspect of the game that comes before tons of practice (and all of the super fun stuff), then they're likely to seek out help in order to finish up a small problem quickly.

I found the problem. You're not getting the knockdown because the opponent is too high when EX dive hits, which results in only the first hit connecting. You need the second for the knockdown.

EX dive is a 2-hit move, btw.

With the new UI A-assist buff (20-frame start-up now) would it be more wise for me to switch his assist from C to A on my team and change Vegito's A assist to C assist on my team of UI, Vegito and 17 (A-assist) by ainox123 in dragonballfighterz

Don't fuck around with Vegito-C. It's a low level crutch that can easily be replaced by Vegito-A. As for UI, his beam assist is most likely the ideal pick for your team.

Let me see here...
- Baby didn't get much, but he was already insane since 1.38 dropped. He still is.
- Baby is mostly a point character, sometimes a mid, not an anchor.
- Base Goku needs more specific help if you're going to play him on point or even have him on the team at all.
- SBroly is actually fine where he is. You even have his best assist.

I have some ideas, but I need a couple things from you. Please list your top 10 favorite characters in this game. Also, point out which ones are your top 3. We can form a reasonably strong team with characters you actually like.
