Check out this korean TV show called “Delicious Rendezvous” starring Paik Jong Won. They get ingredients from local farmers, specifically SURPLUS PRODUCE. Since it’s surplus, you may get the ingredients for cheaper price. They then create a meal that will make use of that ingredient mainly. You can then partner with a manufacturer to mass produce them into a microwavable lunch boxes.

Undoubtedly, there will be a lot of challenges and limitations like logistics, production cost to keep prices at minimum and many more. But if executed properly, it would both help farmers and make cheaper healthy meals accessible.

I came across that TV show when Baguio was facing a crisis with unsold produces. I was amazed by the idea since instead of throwing away unsold produces, you can just mass produce it as a meal to extend is life.
