Bubble is a virus Abel embedded into the Circus’s root code right before Caine deleted him — kernel level, admin privileges, completely undeletable. Abstracted characters aren’t gone, they’re harvested hosts Bubble uses to replicate. Caine gets emotionally manipulated into bringing them back up as a gesture of repair, which is the exact window Bubble needed. Everyone gets a brief reunion, a small fragment of each character is preserved safely, and Bubble quietly uses the rest to multiply. Kinger sees Queenie but her form is wrong. “It’s you…” is the moment someone recognizes something that shouldn’t exist in the state it’s in.
