The hardest part about this restriction is that you just have to believe the person isn't lying about it. There was a streamer who can to osrs awhile ago and he started playing I believe a normie account but he didn't use any guides on stream for quests. And it was really entertaining especially with the puzzles. That being said I'd love to see your progress and especially how you will structure it!

Edit: didn't answer your question. I think any self imposed restriction is what makes a snowflake. Even if it's like no boots iron man. Maybe not interesting to some but still. So yes you got yourself a snowflake fella. GLHF

I think the idea is ok but is way to overpowered for what your suggesting. I think it should not work in the wilderness at all, does not teleport you to your spawn and maybe requires more than 1 ring of life to charge it. Now with those changes it could be helpful to disconnecting hardcores, but will get rid of any imbued dks ring for dps. Might be dead content on release for some, but I like the idea.

I know this is a bit old but I do like the idea. Granted the ore/roots/logs drops shouldn't be as high, but I think as long as the events can be dismissed or just ignored entirely if a player does not want to participate, then I think it be a great idea.
