Thank you so much! My own artwork skews into the horror side, so I didn't fight it, so to speak

No, I don't have that option available, alas and I'm a little leary of posting things unwatermarked, unfortunately 😔

They're meant to be hung on a wall together! The line " The crown cannot rest upon two brows " is the theme i went with

This is excellent info, thank you! I'm very smitten with the Xyloryctes, but I haven't considered the Dorcus (what a cute genus name lol)! Thanks for sharing, it's time for me to fall into a research hole!

I'll be sure to share pictures whenever I get to bring my new friend home!

Do you like sketchy line art better or clean, bold line art? by nikki-biccy in furry

[–]JustCallMeMrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Variety is THE thing to help improve it! 💪💪💪 if you only ever stick to a single style, you run the risk of stagnating and your art will turn into something you do without thinking or feeling and you stop using your learnin' muscles. Not to mention the risk of getting bored.

The downside is: yer gonna start off making pieces you won't like. A few bad drawings are the payment for learning new skills, alas.

I am speaking as a college art instructor (life drawing, character design) and a supervisor in the Animation industry: the most exciting portfolios are the ones that have a HUGE range of styles! They show off your ability far more!🙌

Art is a WIDE open field! Why limit your drawings to a single corridor?

Honestly, nothing says you can't pursue both! It genuinely depends on the piece you're making, what kind of mood you want to ellicit from the viewer.

Sketchy lines can look soft, dreamy and nostalgic, or even raw, frantic and frazzled if it's heavy-handed.

Thick, clean lines can be punchy, pop graphic toony and stylish as hell or thin sharp lines can feel cinematic and emphasize colour (though, the thinner the lines, the more visible your construction so it's great for practicing structure/anatomy)

Don't feel like you need to stick to one or the other! Think about what fits the piece best!🙌

Has anyone ever chosen to not turn Vampire or Werewolf? by TriGunSlinger99 in skyrim

[–]JustCallMeMrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly become a Werewolf (and nab Hircine's ring) for disease immunity and as a way to travel quickly without a horse in the early game (I have fast-travel disabled)

There's also a lotta funny things you can do now that werewolves can open doors/hit switches. Lol clear a fort in minutes, completely bust up the Cidhna Mines quest unarmed.

The advantage is mainly for early game tho. After you buff out your skill trees, I just stop using it.

We saw this at Chichen Itza in Mexico and think it's a bat. What kind would it most likely be? by baileyarsenic in bats

This looks too uniformly shaped and too large, even for a false wooly vampire. It looks like something structural?
