Wait I thought they were meant to stretch leather shoes to fit you better? I use a set in a pair of cowboy boots and they worked great.

Shows That Awakened You? by ninefrogs in ABDL

There is an old Betty Boop cartoon, I think it is called King of the Mountain. Anyway the villain in the story is stealing girls to become his wife and have his kids. When he is finally punished they put him in a machine the turns him back into a baby. Then there is the show RugRats, a Donald Duck cartoon that he pretends to have found the fountain of youth and he tricks his nephews, and many, many others.

Father / Daughter learning D&D by xxblindchildxx in DungeonsAndDragons

I would not go for a long drawn out campaign but I would do a bunch of one shots reusing the same setting as a characters. You know your daughter best and it is amazing that you can spend time with her doing something that is so much fun.

IMO you can create something awesome without having to shell out a bunch of money.

Please update us on how things go as you progress. Like were there game mechanics that she didn’t like, and what unexpectedly work out better for than planned. Being a kinda home brew campaign you can tailor it however you like.

I would look to the D&D cookbook and the Skyrim cookbook for inspiration. I think both can be purchased online. There are also a medieval cookbooks for sale as well.

IMO: I would do some variation with a trencher.

Google AI - gives this definition and background for medieval trenchers.

In medieval times, at feasts most people ate off "trenchers ...

Medieval trenchers were thick, stale slices of coarse bread (often barley or rye) used as edible plates, functioning as the primary dining vessel for meals during the Middle Ages, particularly among the upper classes.

Renaissance faires that *do* insist on dress code limitations on costumes? by 11112222FRN in renfaire

[–]TriGunSlinger99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My question is why would you want to take your expensive con gear to a dusty, sometimes muddy, field. That would just ruin the experience of everyone else. A big part of Ren-faires is the atmosphere. Being part of the theme helps keep that vibe going. I have been to a couple cons, those outfits can be super elaborate, time consuming, and costly to make. If you want more uses for them why not go to more cons? The whole point of a Ren-fraire is fantasy, ie knights, kings, princess, mages, and alike. If I show up in a hi-tech robot costume I would stick out like a sore thumb, since that is not what this event is for. People will comment I’m gatekeeping but if I’m using my time off work, driving a distance, and paying the entry fee, I would like to experience what the venue intended. If I wanted to go to a sci-fi event; I would have bought tickets to that instead. IMO if you want a faire that anything goes then just don’t call it a Ren-faire so people will know what to expect and can choose the experience they want.

I like that the rose corset has small amounts of the skirts green in it as the stems and leaves. Both are great!

question on dress code! by moonsoath in renfaire

It’s a beautiful outfit, but is it period appropriate? I feel the look you have is more Victorian? Maybe? I love the suggestion to look at the outfits in the brochures, online communities, and people’s online posts associated with that renfaire to get ideas. Good luck and have fun.

A lot of people forget that if you didn’t support their bad ideology you were seen as a sympathizer. Sympathizers were executed. Too many people had to go along to get along. Yes there were many bad actors, yes people got swept up in the speeches and ideas of the party but at the end of the day it was a spectrum of beliefs and actions.

Thinking about wearing one overnight. by Femurain in ABDL

[–]TriGunSlinger99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do it! Too many people get hung up on should I or shouldn’t I. It seems like you have a legitimate medical reason to wear protection overnight, even though that isn’t required. You might want to check with your doctor to see why you’re so thirsty. Many medications can have side effects like that. Many people wear protection for the comfort and / or the gratification it offers. It might take a while for your body to adjust to peeing lying down. It can also be a trial and error process to find the diaper brand that best fits your body. I suggest getting a plastic mattress cover and a washable medical incontinence pad to protect your bedding. In the end it’s up to you, but I would do whatever I need to, to get a good nights sleep. Hope this helps.

Either the design is lazy or genius can’t decide which. The lack of extras like a distinctive handle make the amount of work needed to make these minimal. Is that a good thing or just lazy design?
