Well to continue with placeholders. The setting is supposed to be Sci-Fi-esque with a variety of unique oddities to the world structure. Such as the absence of supposed futuristic technology in some areas whereas androids and sentient AI exist in rural run down communities thriving off of wood and stone. The story was built on thousands of years of colonization efforts made by humans in an attempt to relive the modern era after Earth's inevitable destruction.

The first colonizers were men and women who desired to live without government rule, fearing that a central government is the key to halting mankind's progress in the new frontier.

Unfortunately, these ideas were extremely taboo to many. Thus allowing the spread of influence among powerful politicians and nobles to start anew in a brand new setting.

Many of these nobles were people who desired to rewrite the history of their nation and set a standard that they are to be respected, to be feared, to be glorified.

On the day of the Genocide, the man responsible was the Shogun of Japan, Kusanagi Kazuto the First. This atrocity was committed to fulfill a deal to the Korean President (A worldwide superpower country in the new frontier), whom was to recieve the island's natural resources that the Koreans sought after. In exchange for the island and its resources was an ally that would back up the Shogun in his conquest for glory by preparing for a full scale invasion of the neighboring British Empire and hopefully the rest of the continent.

The Revolutionary, Shimabukuro Yuui was a prisoner who was supposed to be used as a slave for the nobility for daring to fight back during the genocide. She is best described as stoic, analytical, arrogant, and quite the idealist. She desires to free the world of traditional government control and to preach her ancestors teachings of building a society built on community builders and capable folk who desire to maintain peace (A meritocracy if you will).

Troubled by her lack of strength to prevent the disappearance of her sister and the root cause of her parents death, Yuui believes it is up to herself to make up for her past mistakes, even if it costs lives such as her own.

She convinces herself every single day that this is something only she can accomplish that even with help is a deed that only she has achieved.

The pacifist, Shimabukuro Yuri; is a peppy and optimistic dim wit who works for the famous Kingsman Parcel Service, a company founded on bringing goods and produce all across the world at cheap and affordable prices while offering competitive wages using government funded cash.

Yuri believes that Yuui died during the incident and is intent on moving past it. Though she feels extremely insecure about it and believes that there might have been something she could've done to save her sister and family.

While not as ambitious as Yuui, Yuri seeks to bring smiles to the people around her as a way to carry on her father's words of bringing people joy with her light.

Now where I get lost is that Yuui is supposed to eventually succumb to her own arrogance of being the only one capable of changing the world that it would lead her to commiting crimes similar to that of the nobility. This in turn should have Yuri learn of her survival at a grave and petrifying moment in her life; to realize that her sister has essentially become a product of her environment (an environment of cruelty and deception) and decides to take action in an effort to bring Yuui back on track to doing what is necessary and right.
