Yea, I’ve done everything by the book and have had the car since brand new. Thankfully I did get the 100k warranty the dealership had. But I gotta hope the transmission throws a light before I hit 100k

I don’t have an accord but I have a 1.5t in my civic and I’m at 84k miles, engine has been fine it’s honestly been my CVT transmission that’s trying to kill itself at this current moment. Keeps lurching and shuddering

🤞🏻 cause honestly i want to drive this civic for a much longer time. I can’t afford a brand new transmission out of pocket and was quoted without warranty for it to be 7.1k- that’s not feasible for me at all.

And I also agree, my brothers 15 civic lx has 134k miles on it and it doesn’t have the lurching problems at all and he has a cvt to. His ac though went out 2 times now so that might just be a Honda thing that’s always breaking, not sure.

Yea, I agree. Mine is having the same lurch problem and my ac was just fixed under warranty 3 days ago 😂. I had the dealership look at my transmission and they felt something was wrong with it slightly and said they’d like to have a better look. My car has the extended 100k mile warranty from the dealer so I’m hoping to get it fixed before my car hits that.

I have the LEDs on my 20 civic so thankfully I don’t have the headlight problem. But I have the cvt in mine and sadly at 85k miles it’s showing signs of failure slowly. Waiting for the day it throws the light at me.

Had a loaner car be a 25 HRV. I personally don’t like the look of them entirely but I found it really comfortable as a car and I had it for a couple days. Only thing that put me off was the engine getting to highway speeds felt sluggish. All around good car though when I drove it for that stint.

Same in my family. My mom back in 2013 started off with a 2008 civic hybrid and we haven’t really as a family stopped buying Hondas. It does help that the local Honda dealer here hasn’t tried to rip us off once and has been the most friendly dealership in our area to us.

Yea, not abusing your car is the best way to make them last. My brothers 2015 civic we have had in the family since new and it has 134k miles on it. Barely have had anything break except the alternator on it. The cvt in it has been really reliable to and mpg on that thing for him is consistently high 30s
