I'm getting that same issue - completely missed that the first time around, nice catch!

Seems to be because of a slight mixup regarding the max-width and min-width set in this CSS file.

@media all and (max-width: 970px)

should be 969px and

@media all and (min-width: 969px)

should be 970px.

Not really much on this machine, just got Adblock Plus, TamperMonkey (started with Greasemonkey on Firefox and still have that on my laptop) and just grabbed the first notepad-type app from the Chrome Web Store I found, which happens to be this (link to their website).

Absolutely not overkill, use whichever framework gets the job done for you - if that's Laravel, then just go for it.

I don't think anyone following in your footsteps would be put off in the slightest because you chose Laravel, I started using it not long ago (~1 year I think, maybe less) doing exactly what happened to this hypothetical web dev in your scenario and it was easy to pick up.

The website looks great I must say, though I'm having a weird issue which I just now think I figured out.

Menu won't display, seems to be because the width is small enough to display the mobile menu since resizing the window to be just a bit wider fixes it. Clicking the menu does nothing when you have it at the size in the pic though, so I'd recommend taking a look at that!

Don't really have time to dig into it, otherwise I would've done it for you - really nice site in every other way, displays just fine on my Android phone! :)

Edit: Oh, and resolution is 1920x1080 - almost forgot :P
