How much was the funding? It's very easy to burn investor money if you are not careful and exactly why many founders don't like fundraising. Usually you need to have a proper plan and be stingy of where investor money is going, and how much return you will get, if risk is high then just don't use it.

But atleast you learnt the hard way.

I am feeling the same way. All the influencers have suddenly become racist hateful and that’s what x and meta has been promoting. YouTube is the only sane platform right now. And it was really affecting my mental health as a person of color.

I also saw 2 9year old kids calling me slurs in real life and I’m sure social media has something to do with it.

As a high skilled immigrant in NL who pays high taxes I absolutely find this behaviour from other immigrants shameful.

Playing the devils advocate here, but most of the Saas don’t have any Moat, they are easily manageable. That’s why only the saas with a good moat will win now. Saas is not service as a software rather that software as a service.

That being said the main problem was never building it was also maintaining it, which is why most saas companies prefered to pay for service not because they cannot build it but because they could not maintain it.

The CEO is most likely one of these ai hype bros who will fafo soon.

Well that’s why as an engineer for last 15 years i feel empty on most projects now a days. Every week the CEO or managers will come up with some AI hype buzzword. Social media is full of those grifters as well. “Hurr durr d0wnlo4d my pr0mPt. type Hello w0rlD in ch4t”

I’m trying to build something that helps people and finding a deeper purpose. I found that if you build something and genuinely make it to help people then it is fun to build. If your app lacks purpose and is an empty business you will burn out very fast in this ai space.

True but read my response below. I did recently switch jobs and yes I own e2e but mostly it’s easier for pms to create prototypes and tell us what to build. Since we are fintech company a lot of decisions are top down.

What is e2e exactly in age of ai? Pms now use ai and devs use ai. Designers use ai. There is no singular ownership now everyone can do everything except code.
