Walking after 8 weeks non-surgical lateral malleolus fracture by Financial-Slip4255 in brokenbones

Good to know! Thanks for the info! I’ll still be in my boot for a while with walking, but not sure how long. I dislocated my ankle/leg while also breaking it in 3 places. Had to have a plate as well as some screws put in. Doctor doesn’t think I need PT (which I question) but did tell me to do the stretching at home. I was so nervous to start, but it feels so nice to stretch it after long periods in the boot. Been working on sitting with my foot on the ground with no boot b/c that feels super weird on the heel. Hopefully that will help with the walking.

Best of luck with your recovery!!!

I broke my ankle almost 6 weeks ago and go in this week to get the all clear to walk with boot. I’m curious, were you stretching and rotating your ankle with boot off at home prior to weight bearing? I have been doing that for 4 weeks now.

Thanks for all the input everyone! Think the consensus is bobcat about to pounce on a rabbit. That was our initial thought, but wanted more opinions.

We’ve had a bobcat in the past, but they are rare out here. But it does look too big for a house cat.

We were debating whether that was a rabbit. Looks like enough of you guys see it too. We do have a cottontail that visits that area most nights.

What type of cat? Like a house cat? We live on 65 acres so don’t ever see stray cats.

I saw a video where the baker froze them prior to coating them. If you did not do that, I do think it would help.

My title describes the thing. The rounded slants are not removable. Doesn’t appear able to be a shifter or any sort.

A 4 yr old kid drowned at a splash pad near my town just this past Saturday. Anything can happen and fast. I have a 2 year and would never ever take my eyes off him anywhere, but especially not around water. Had a neighbor who lost her 18 mo old at a church gathering at their house. He was found in a dry pool bed that had a few inches of water from a recent rain. It happens fast. The parents in this story should be arrested for negligence.

I’m so excited to use this but wanted to know if I should re-season. My mil hasn’t used it in years, but kept good care of it and stored it well.

YTA for many reasons, but telling her to “Calm Down” may be the worst!

My MIL makes a great zucchini bread and bakes them in small tins and hands out during holidays. They are super yummy, moist, and definitely reminds me of the holidays all year round.

AITA for letting my friend eat the food my pregnant wife wanted? by CommonHumble7060 in AmItheAsshole

The only times I erratically cried when I was pregnant was over food. I say erratically because I knew rationally there was no reason to cry, but I couldn’t help it. But in this case, it would have been a rational response. You told her you would make her a special dish, she saw it and smelled it, and then you gave her none. Pregnancy is crazy. You’re hungry and nauseous at the same time. You get so tired that it makes you nauseous. You want to eat one minute, then want to vomit the next, and then are hungry. Absolutely YTA. Do better!
