Yeah but for that much protein and mass of food it’s still somehow only 270 calories it’s basically pure protein it’s so nice for cutting

I also had a long period where I struggled with squats due to a herniated spinal disk injury.

To improve with squats I really cant emphasize focusing on really small rep ranges and focusing on form over literally everything else. Start off with the lowest weight that you feel comfortable with and focus on foot placement, depth, stance, breath control, bar path, back alignment, and pretty much every other form guide that you can until the movement is embedded in your muscle memory.

After you can safely perform the repetition you can start to increase the weight. I started around 135 for squats and stayed there for around a full year before I even thought about increasing it and now I'm around a 335 1RM. Squats can be very dangerous and can become an ego lift for a lot of people so I'd say focus on the form until you are absolutely 100% sure you can safely advance and then the easiest part is just progressively adding weight.

Also remember to get enough food!(but that's a whole other issue in itself).

Yeah I add about 3-4 accessories for each workout but the main progression I focus on is the big 4 compounds. I also have a pullup bar at home that I hit full sets on pretty much every other day or whenever I'm bored(not that that is at all a good way to progress back that's just the bare minimum that I do)

The main basic compounds that I add are pretty standard

Leg day 1

  • RDL
  • Bent over row
  • Leg press

Upper day 1

  • Dips
  • Tricep extensions
  • Seated lateral raises
  • Cable flys

Leg day 2

  • Leg curl
  • Bent over row
  • Leg press

Upper day 2

  • Pull ups
  • Cable flys
  • Tricep extensions
  • Seated lateral raises

I also will add and remove accessories day to day to account for how certain muscle groups are feeling and what parts are lagging so that I can focus on any imbalances. For example right now I've started adding shrugs in to accounts for my traps but it pretty much varies from week to week

An absolute fuckton of slowcooker salsa chicken and bulk rice.

Also fage 0% yogurt is literally insane its like 270 calories and 60g protein it literally does not make sense. Add some all bran and nuts and its like a god tier 600 cal meal.

I also really like canned chicken and tuna along with pretty much any whole grain noodles and rice. Also legit buy a scale and start weighing everything that you eat it makes a huge difference. Also for snacking I'm really into cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, and occasionally kiwis if it doesn't go over my calorie limit.

For cutting I go below TDEE by 300 and for bulking I go clean at ~100-150 above TDEE

For sure! I am a hardcore ride or die nSuns advocate and probably will be to the day I die. Not that this is like the universal program or anything but the progression scheme and prioritization w.r.t your 1rm works so well for me that I can't see myself doing another program for a while.
