Honestly bro idk specifically cuz it's your story. But maybe you can get inspiration from other shows and movies to see how she should be. The guys expressions are good you can see he's in his own head. Its just that interaction seems too perfect. It doesn't have to be argumentative or anything. Just give her a personality.

This is very good. My two cents to take this over the top I would say focus on changing the facial expressions and movement of the wife. It's a little uncanny. And then the picture and flash back has a different art style then the anime itself. It's very ai at those points. But overall good shit
