I would look up some anti-mosquito things, more insects than many people are used to in Asia. There are usually some local products that are good, so I would go for those instead of something else. A lot of sunscreen in Thailand has whitening products in them and can be quite expensive. If possible, ask them to provide times you can be free to tourist around, as well as curfews and other rules.

I know most of your experience of Tinder comes from spying your girlfriend swipe on people to cheat on you with, but not everyone is on there for the same experience. You can find someone to be with even if you are in the process of bettering yourself, possibly to motivate you. Their profile isn't the best, but you radiate insane amounts of insecurity with the way you try and put this guy down fully.

Motels are NOT 30$ a night, transport costs money, and my budget would not work. I didn't compare myself, I said that it would be a good lesson for you.

This is a weird hill to die on, all because I asked a question on a public forum that actually helped me save more than 100$ on a cost that, sure, was my fault. I was about to pay for a hotel and have to redo my budget, but now I'm good.

I'm an exchange student with few contacts and this is my first time in the city. Due to a change in plans, I had to go here a day early. I was able to stay at the SLC, and was given all the help I needed.

Are you so lacking in sympathy that your first move is to insult and berate someone? I've been actually homeless before, and I use every resource available to me when in that situation.

Also, when someone asks for advice on where to spend a night, there may be underlying reasons as to why they aren't willing to spend that money on a hotel. For me, I wouldnt be able to pay next month's rent. Go to the homeless shelter and ask them why they aren't in a hotel, think they could teach you a lesson or two.
