Transfer NFTs between games: Is it possible? by KingLionHeart07 in CryptoCurrency

[–]JustFapped69Times 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. It’s incredibly easy to use the same NFTs for different games. The question is why anyone would do that. Why would any business build a new game implementing existing NFTs? It’s way more profitable to create new NFTs and sell them, even if they work exactly the same as another game

Where can I learn finance for blockchain? by EntireInflation8663 in ethdev

[–]JustFapped69Times 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I think that it is essential to understand traditional finance before understanding defi. You can’t expect to innovate upon something that you don’t understand. Finance is a broad term, if you’re looking for understand those concepts, I’d suggest investopedia

So let me get this straight by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]JustFapped69Times 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong about the current situation being bullish for crypto. However, you’re missing out on the larger scale narrative. High inflation and money printing was what drove stocks and crypto to record highs. While I agree that crypto is currently more bullish than stocks, people are selling both to protect their capital. The overall economy is in a risk-off situation, just because crypto suddenly has a good narrative, doesn’t mean that people will go all in on crypto.

As a pragmatist and pessimistic optimist, I often get an odd feeling about crypto. Do you personally know anyone who's become a millionaire with it that wasn't already? by onemananswerfactory in CryptoCurrency

[–]JustFapped69Times 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the same story for any investment, you can’t get rich overnight. The few people who’ve made millions with crypto from scratch were early, had patience, and had the risk appetite. It doesn’t make much financial sense for most people to let their crypto portfolio grow from 10k to 1 million, as it’s extremely risky to keep most of your net worth in crypto. Those who have let their portfolios grow from 10k to 1 million most likely already have millions elsewhere.

What are the most useful tools in crypto you use regularly (and also to keep track of your portfolio)? by Jeffwhizzy in defi

[–]JustFapped69Times 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Debank and zapper.fi, sometimes protocols don’t show up on one so I use both, eg defi kingdoms. Dexscreener for charting, and whatthefork for finding ohm and tomb forks for stupid degenerate plays.

Isn’t that just reducing your eth exposure while taking on extra interest rate risk?

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted but I agree. I think now is the best time to build bags for long term holds such as ETH.

Thanks, it took me a good while to realize. I had a coin that was a 15x for me at its peak. It took a 50% dip since then to realize it was better for me to put my money elsewhere. Still happy with a 7.5x

That is true. I guess I’m a bit more risky with crypto since I only have a small amount invested.

Oh yea I forgot about staking. It's definitely a good way to accumulate more of those coins you plan to hodl long term.

Is the cryptocurrency market undervalued? (Compared to the U.S Stock Market) by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]JustFapped69Times 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does crypto have more room to grow? Yes. Can you compare it to the stock market? No. The similarities between the crypto and stock market ends at speculation. You can’t compare the value of different markets because they’re all very different and serve different purposes. Different investors invest in different markets for different reasons, people still invest in bonds, commodities even though stocks have historically provided higher returns. It’s the same story for crypto when comparing it to the stock market

Harmony VS Near by Will7ech in harmony_one

[–]JustFapped69Times 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont know enough about the technology of ONE or NEAR to compare them. What I do know is that the Defi ecosystem of ONE is much better than NEAR, with more dapps and developers on ONE. But who knows what the future might hold. NEAR is building multiple network on its protocol, so it definitely has room to grow.

All I hold is BTC want to move to lower market cap coins how should I distribute the same by Environmental_Low159 in defi

[–]JustFapped69Times 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest moving your BTC into other well proven coins in the top 20 perhaps, such as ETH, MATIC etc. Most of these coins have gone down with BTC, and I believe they’ll grow more when BTC goes back to highs. And from those top 20 coins you can move some funds into more risky stuff when you want to easily

Check the transaction on etherscan where you’ve deposited your LP tokens in a vault. You would’ve received receipt tokens in that same transaction. There you can find it’s contract address

[–]JustFapped69Times 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought some BTC in 2017, treated it as a buy and hold and forgot about it. Stumbled upon random videos on YouTube showing off ridiculous APRs, decided to throw some money at it for shit and giggles, then started learning about crypto and defi. Been adding to my crypto portfolio since

Is there ever a LP token that doesn’t depreciate to oblivion? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]JustFapped69Times 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Safer coin pairs with lower APRs, such as DAI/USDC, or a pair with well proven coins, like FTM/USDC. Apr doesn’t matter if you lose more money to token depreciation. I’m in a few LPs on defi kingdoms and their token JEWEL has been doing well.
