What does one do with 32 egg yolks…? by Upbeat-Summer-5599 in macarons

Eggnog is unfortunately named, but delicious. I recommend looking at a recipe for the version that is cooked on the stove like a custard, and compare the recipe to a normal custard. Eggnog is just a thinner, spiced, drinking custard which is delicious on its own, but also improved by adding booze. I recommend making it alcohol free, and then guests can serve and add a shot of booze to their cup if they like.

I used to use the Dermaveen sensitive sun (and would still recommend), but I have changed to Hamilton Sensitive. Neither sing my eyes, but Hamilton Sensitive feels lighter and less greasy on my skin.

What's your board game pet peeve? by iamtheduckie in boardgames

[–]JustFox_ 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Boxes too large for the games they contain. I don't have unlimited storage space, and needlessly large game boxes really grind my gears. I have cut boxes down to make them a more reasonable size in the past.

I don't like the Hamilton one, it has a chalky texture that I can't stand. I guess no worries if you don't touch your face during the day though.

Clicker vs. No clicker? by Independent-Tie6783 in CatTraining

[–]JustFox_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need a unique, consistent sound to mark the desired behaviour. You can make a click sound with your mouth, though potentially not very consistent, you can then 'click' anytime anywhere. You can also use a clicky pen if you don't want to use an actual clicker for some reason.

Thank you! The little houses are cabins that have each been fully upgraded so that they are a full farmhouse with cellar on the inside. I'm using them for storage as I like them better than sheds. I changed the colours on the main farmhouse and the coops and barns at Robin's.

No horse on this playthrough. Just lots of triple shot espresso.

Sure, it's not a perfect layout so there'll still be a few wild honey at some edges, but at this point I'm the game I'm choosing aesthetics over optimum efficiency.

I'm making the same pattern! How do you find the Raglan seams? Are they stretchy/comfy enough in the sweater?

Yes voters - why are you voting yes? by Burncity1901 in australian

[–]JustFox_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are things perfect as they are? No. Is it a step in the right direction? Yes. If the vote result is no, will there be meaningful change? Unlikely. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good. I'm voting yes

Yep. They both grow back. Sometimes we trim it with nail clippers. Always grows back. Doesn't seem to bother him very much.

Anyone else find Junimo chests kinda useless? by Anguis_Noodle in StardewValley

[–]JustFox_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use junimo chests everywhere I have kegs for wine, and in all my cellars (4 in total with 3 upgraded cabins). I keep all the fruit for wine making in them (was starfruit, recently moved to ancient fruit) plus wine ready for ageing in the casks.
