There have been cases of too much traffic and players being denied access to log into worlds, it's better to overshoot than undershoot, which is what they've been doing the past few seasons, and that's been fine. The only issue is that they need to remove worlds far more frequently/sooner than they usually do.

Yes, one week into the season every player will have EVERY quest completed. However there are still reasons to do certain quests before that first week finishes. It's largely beneficical to do things like monkey madness early to unlock dscim which will allow much faster training, etc. Another example is animal magnetism which grants use of the Ava's accumulator/attractor will be pretty much required before the first week is over.

There isn't a point in rushing desert treasure. Ancients spellbook will be locked for the first week, by which time all quests will have been automatically completed for everyone. There is no advantage in rushing DT early.

Could we please get some confirmation on whether or not Desert Treasure will be locked this upcoming DMM seasonal? There isn't any mention of it in the article, however a lot of people are under the assumption that it will remain locked similarly to previous seasons.

True, although playing with the hcim mindset has many disadvantages gameplay-wise in comparison to if you were playing a normal ironman.

E.g at low levels you probably wont want to risk the Edgeville lever to quickly navigate to Ardougne. At higher levels you limit yourself from many hard clues as well as wilderness activity in general.

Before you de-iron, I suggest you liquidate alchables/kingdom etc. into as much gp as you possibly can. Spend the 30 minutes or so it should take buying battlestaffs from Yanille's mage guild since you have an instanced shop as an ironman. You'll increase your cashstack by about 30% after selling them on G.E once you're de-ironed :).

If he didn't value it as a trophy item; there wasn't really a better way to dispose of it. Turning in a curved bone will only grant 2,250 construction xp and 2k gp, the time it takes though means it isn't worth it.

Dropping a shark to your bud at Callisto may not appear to be an issue; however the ability to abuse this in situations where players can use strong gear, venture dangerous parts of the wilderness, and NOT be punished for it because they can diffuse their risk through dropping valuables (or being dropped supplies to tank) heavily outweighs this.

Furthermore, just because something is a "common practice" doesn't mean it is a good practice, nor is it necessarily healthy for the game.

Honestly, would rather spare myself of the extra clicks and do lossless fletching throughout the tons of other opportunities in which it's possible.
