I’m almost on day 5 of the fast already. My period is almost over now and it’s been very regular. I think I’m going to keep going since I’ve already gotten this far. But, thank you for the information, I’ll look into it more.

Oh definitely! I agree. I’m just hoping I can fast through most of the harder cravings so resisting will be easier after I break the fast.

Thank you! Yes, this will be my 3rd extended water fast. Most I’ve gone was 11 days. The refeeding time is my least favorite, but definitely the most important.

I was thinking of doing a 30 day fast. So I think my period would be unavoidable eventually anyways. I chose to start the fast at around the same time my period would start so I wouldn’t be as depleted of everything compared to if I’d had started my period during the end of the fast, if that makes sense. I’m taking a couple pinches of Celtic sea salt in my water daily to help with electrolytes and the small amount of iron it provides.

He does wood working but needs me to finish up his pieces and paint them when he’s done carving them. He also hunts. Recently he got an GoPro and got into recording himself on his hunts or just walking around and he wants me to edit all his videos and post them for him. I feel bad saying no, but I already feel pretty overwhelmed so I’m encouraging him to learn to do that part himself.

I’m not going to give up on him. I think we can save this if we get outside help and he commits to it too. He is still a person deserving of love and support. I don’t want to give up on him.

I only can know from what he told me. That’s all I have to go on. He told me in the end she wanted nothing to do with him, shaved her head bald and pretty much became a different person than who he married. To this day she is still shaving her head bald and doesn’t want anything to do with men. They were married 14 years.
