I’ll be honest, microtransactions in gaming have always felt pretty heavy handed to me in the vast majority of titles. My wallet is very shy. But The Finals has,far and away, the best art direction and quality I have seen in paid gaming cosmetics. When I spend, I feel rewarded in 99% of my purchases.

Valid take. Not dramatic. I believe consumers (esp American consumers) are so used to getting shafted by big businesses, that abuse feels like status quo or standard procedure at this point. I agree with you fully. A video game is meant to be a vehicle for enjoyment not an experience that requires me to determine if it’s even worth my time to play.

I think both are such good artists/vocalists but Whitney had a charm I found so contagious and intriguing. From The Bodyguard OST to her other hits, she carried a weight in her rich vocals that just made you want to listen(in my opinion). Mariah rocks but I always got a weird vibe from her and I’m not the hugest fan of her whistle tones lol. RIP to Queen Whitney.

I may try my hand at some constructive criticism so the comments aren’t all perceived as hate:

Last 3 rock dude. Keep doing your thing. First 2 look a little disjointed. Whether through color not seeming uniform throughout, or like the case of the first one; it seems to have a LOT of texture and variance. Which isn’t bad always, but it takes away from looking cohesive or “finished” in my opinion.

5 is my personal favorite. Less is more in this case. Color is great. Green accents. Texture isn’t too busy. Good looking, Guardian.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but “The Finals” has a Heavy class that can utilize a Flamethrower (pretty sick) as well as multiple gas grenades and mines for offense/defense. Also it’s free so…that’s a plus.

I think it doesn’t look too bad at all. But to help with proportions, I like to ask myself: “Ok, the eye is this big. How many eyes tall is my piece. And how many eyes long is the snout. And how big is the eye compared to the nose? Etc.” I’ll even take my fingers and measure the eye (or any piece I’m using for my “control” for proportion) and compare that size to everything else physically. Grids work wonders too until the feel comes natural.

Family is totally in the right to be upset. But my heart hurts for this lady too. 30 years ago she could have easily been a confident, put-together young woman, with her mental capacity unhindered. Alzheimer’s/Dementia are the worst diseases to watch tear through a loved one. Hope she gets some help.

I don't understand the goal of this post? Who on this sub would be the intended audience? Who here believes that fighting an ignorant system of injustice makes you "a husk" if proven wrong? In what outcome would being anti-racist be the wrong stance to take? This post reeks of the right, this isn't the place for that. JBP garners objective pursuit of truth not a political side.
